All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

found the pavements quite unsafe and some of the toilets in places we ate left a lot to be desired mixed toilets not nice for us girls especially if floors are soaking

resort was very clean am not sure about the entertainment though because i didnt go watch it. i thought the beach was nice apart from the water it was filthiy. i would visit this resort again as i like bulgaria.

Sunny Beach is what it says a big beach resort. Good pubs and bad pubs, same with the restaurants. If you decide to go ask around for recommendations from people who have been before.
The beach is good, but can be busy at times.
The endless stalls selling fake everything are a novelty at first but that wears off.
Guys on their own will be pestered at night in the central areas, so if it bothers you, there are a few corners that are best avoided.
There are so many bars and restaurants that it can be hard to choose. In Sunny Beach try Djannys for food, great place, then head to Tony's Karaoke bar, which is usually good after 11-30.
If you want a quieter night out go up to St Vlas, into the square. Central, upstairs in front of the fountains is good, and so is Tepaha, yellow sign in the corner,great food, but gets busy in the evenings. Lots more places up and down the streets. But this isnt an ancient scenic village with lovely old buildings. They make the most of some pretty average buildings.

Sunny Beach is a large, busy resort with loads of bars, restaurants and shops (all selling the same stuff). Nice long prom runs the lenth of the beach with plenty to see and do. Main centre (Flower St/Hotel Kuban) very noisy at night and full of young people getting increasingly drunker as the night goes on. Reports online of muggings etc but again we did not see or hear of anything during our stay (July 08). Sunny Beach is NOT for a quiet, relaxing holiday but there are some nice places and nearby Nessebar old town is lovelly and well worth a visit.

I can recommend the food at Fat Cats and we had a lot of fun in Vagabonds and Coyote Ugly. But you will find that most places are geared towards eating and listening to entertainment for a night out.
Rip off perfume smells nothing like it is supposed too. Loads of contraban clothes, bags and so on. Cheap quality though.
We went to Sunny Beach to look at investing in property out there, we are not sure about this now. Great for younger groups of men or women, lots of pub crawl trips.

Cacao beach was like a scean from footballers wives. All the locals are very glamerous and proud of their appearances. This was not at all intimidating but made you feel that you were in a high quality location. The Bedroom bar appropriatly named as they have double beds around the pool for you to sunbathe on if you want a break from the scorching sand, was beautiful and a real treat compared to the usual beach bars I have seen across Europe.
Many shops selling large range or groceries and gifts. Not much evening entertainment in southern SB as all the night life is available on the main strip, but this suited us fine as we liked to relax on an evening.
