All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort was always clean in the morning but by night time it was covered in rubbish at it was very hard to find a bin and when you did it was always overflowing. Lots of Kareokes and some good clubs. The beach was clean and there were plenty of lifeguards who made you aware if there was any danger. I would not visit this resort again. We were told you will not need much money but this was not the case.

Sunny Beach resort was very nice. The beach was exellent 6lev for sunbeds for the day we thought quite reasonable. The sea was warm(though there were lots of jellyfish and sea weed)and there was lots of water activities for the kids. The nightlife was pretty much the same all through the resort restaurant/bars with a singer or a band in them, some better than others but i wouldn't say there was any that were great! The food and drink prices weren't as cheap as we'd thought, though you could find cheap places they were either poor quality or empty with no entertainment. The locals were nice and friendly. Overall Sunny Beach was very nice, not cheap, not bad entertainment, not bad food, not bad anything really just not good either! Average!

This resort is well developed and extremely busy. However you are entertained, by the various street artists.
Most bars & shops are in walking distance. There is a little train which runs up and down the main strip and it costs 3 lev per person. There are 3 trains which cover the whole length of Sunny Beach.
Would suggest you keep your wits about you as there are loads of golf style buggies about, and you can't always hear them coming.
Nearby is Nessabar, I definitely recommend visiting, very old and picturesque.

Have just returned from 2 wks in Sunnybeach. Had a lovely time but resort not quite what we were expecting. All the bars we tried seemed to offer the same sort of entertainment & food.There was very little variation (except in quality)the one I would recommend is the Fat Cat on the beach front, delicious pizzas & enchiladas. Its often packed so obviously has a good rep. The beach is gorgeous, the sea warm but seaweedy. We had a couple of windy days which is great for the waves but the seaweed wraps round your legs & can be a bit creepy! The water park is great too, not too busy either so you don't spend your whole day in queues. What was unusual was what looked like decent food! We didn't eat because in our experience the food's awful at these places but it did look really nice! Our favourite place for evenings was the Red Lion pub.The staff are lovely & their resident band are great, loved our cheering & responded with what became our personal salute! ha ha. Foods nice here too & they show English footy so bound to be a winner. Lots of positives to say about Sunnybeach but still a way to go before they get it just right. Not to say I don't recommend it or won't go back. I do & who knows? Maybe

The resort itself offers plenty of entertainment with its bars and restaurants very lively nightlife that goes on till the early hours.
The local peope are very friendly and helpfull the beach pulls in the crowds so be early the resort is kept clean and tidy I would definitely go again

beach lovely and clean plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas between 5-7 lev each entertainment karaoki singers mini golf plenty of bars and restaurants even mac donalds.the prices not as cheap as everyone made out but cheaper than britain. the food on plane was a roll and the airport was poor and expensive no one seemed to smile not even the air hostesses.

this resort is not caterd for family s.if you are aged between 18 and 30 years old you will have a great time ,because all is on offer are bars with cheap alchol where you can drink till six in the morning.

Having been before we knew what to expect and generally the resort is exactly what you would expect. Its good fun. thebeach is excellent. The resort could do with mor waste bins and emptied more often bu not too bad.

Sunny beach is excellent and Inexpensive.There seemed to be no draught Heiniken,Budweiser or Carlsberg though, although you can buy bottles at around 2 euro each.The local beer is cheap at around 1.50 euro a pint.
