All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

We stayed in Sunny Beach the first week in June2008.It was just starting to get busy.It gets livelier the further you walk along the promenade,there are so many people pushing fliers at you,or hassling you to go in their bar/restaurants.It was quite clean on the beach except for cigarette ends.Beware of sellers of tobacco which is cheaper than the supermarkets,its not the real thing!
I would definitly visit Sunny Beach again,its great for all ages.

The beach is really good and clean. Although it is busy there are plenty of sun beds and umbrellas which there is a charge for. Its a Lev for the lav wherever you go.
The bars and food places are all generally clean and smart. Good choice of food.

This resort is in my words kept quite clean and from last year there are a lot more rubbish bins about.
We were in the sea three times and the water was quite warm the only problem was the price of the umberellas and beach beds were 7 leves each which meant for the umberella and 2 beds was 21 leves which I thought was a rip off.

Great party place with amazing nightlife lots of totty great food and very cheep beer. Had the time of my life.

excellent !
Very clean, no beggers (to set the record straight), again people only botherd about the money and if you go in there shop they will swarm you. dont go on the bikes which played loud music they will rip you off and will call all there collegues to surround you. would visit this resort again.

The resort is for everyone. Couples, families, singles, young, old and clubbers. It is kept very clean, by a small army of cleaners. Be Aware Of Anyone Offering You Anything For Nothing or Anyone That Offers You Items For Sale In The Street... Especially Fruit!!!

We did not let the standard of the hotel spoil our holiday, the days spent on the superb beach,the many fine first class restaurant's one being The Steak House which when you sit down they bring the flag of your country to your table, this is a great idea as you look around the restaurant you see the different nationalities at dinner.
All in all a good holiday, but we noticed the price of everything is up, but still a cheep holiday.

Sunny Beach has started to go for the throat, over the past 2 years the prices have doubled in the bars and Restuarants.
Do not get your picture taken with the snakes and crocs in the resort the poor beasts are drugged and their mouths closed with selotape.
Head down the street of artists and you will find a good few pubs just next to the shopping mall who do good food and are cheaper than the main street, also the Chinese at the start of this street is superb and the portions amazing

the resort was the best thing about the holiday is was good for the kids and the adults that was excellent as there was 8 kids and 10 adults the people out on the streets was so rude to us.
