All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

beach clean but got to pay to sun bath, had to run the gauntlet of beggars and con men to get to beach,only holiday that i have never swam in the sea suit club 18-30 type Blackpool with the mafia is how i best can describe it,any one brave or daft enough to go PLEASE WATCH YOUR BELONGINGS and use only the hotels to change your money good luck.

This was our first holiday abroad,and to tell you the truth it was not a very pleasant experience.We never really felt safe,you walked about clutching our bags,you always felt as though you were going to be mugged at any minute.You should not feel like that on holiday.You always had young gypsy kids running up to you,holding their hands out shouting "stinky" which is a term for their money stotinkies,begging.You certainly need nevers of steel to go on holiday to Bulgaria,well you did then.Has it improved in the 5 years since we went,in 2005,i hope so,because we are going there this June.

I loved Sunny Beach! The bars are brilliant, and the night clubs, althrough limited are brilliant, and I would espesially recommend Disco Orange! The beach is lovely, althrough there were jelly fish in the sea so be very careful with that!!

Didn't do much of the resort after 9pm as we considered it to be aimed at the youngsters, with the offer of 2 for 1 cocktails and the like at most bars. But there was alway something to do in the resort as it never seems to stop. Most supermarkets are open around the clock too. The locals all seem friendly enough, but almost every bar and restraunt has a tout outside and each and everyone of them hassle you for their business. As it was early in the season, I have to admit not everything was open. It is cheaper to get around on the buses, a standard charge up and down sunnybeach and nesabar is 80 stotinki (about 35p) whereas we priced a taxi to take us to nesabar (3km's) and the standard price is 25lev.

A very busy place with lots to do both day and night although the entertainment is not appropriate for children. We found a nice little bar that was very cheap and although was very close to all the main bars and clubs was out of the way from the evils of the night. Dont let your man out alone to buy donuts, he will come back in a state of panic because of the many prostitutes that will try to grab him for business. They do stay well clear your man is not alone. The beach front is very expensive and it doesnt get much cheaper more inland, look out for bars that have 1,50 lev a big beer, they are around.
Watersports are excellent and not that expensive, we also attended the pirates cruise which was a good day out and visited the virgin river which in parts was quite boring but the souvenir shops were much cheaper

Having been to Sunny Beach last May this year a lot of changes new hotels shops and bars but the thing which I noticed the most was the increase in prices I was told that snice last year everything has gone up by about 30% last year a beer cost betwen 1.lv and 2.lv this year 2.lv to 3.lv but if you look around there are places still cheap and still good food places to buy a very good meal which is still cheaper than here must like Bulgara as going back this year in Spetember for two weeks make the most of it while its still good vaule before in enters the E>U>fully

The resort was good, lots to see and do. although the paths were very uneven and gritty. lots of holes in the paths and very high kerbs.
with lots of bars and clubs, there is always something new to do and the drinks are cheap.
the beach was lovely and clean. the water was beautiful.
would visit again

Stayed at the Sunny Beach resort area of Bulgaria this a very up and coming resort There are plenty of beach bars dotted along the resort and a Abundance of Take Away's selling Jacket Potatoes with Dozens of different fillings Also Kebabs Burgers pancakes and chips.
