All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

Sunny Beach is a fabulous beach which stretches for 4 or 5 miles in length. The Black Sea is perfect for swimming in. The whole area is level and so perfect for elderly who may have difficulty negotiating slopes. There are lots of shops to wander through and the Rotal Beach Mall is a very high class shopping area. There is a plethora of restaurants. I would suggest it might be better to go to an apartment rather than a hotel as the food and drink are relatively cheap and so if you dine out you can ensure the food will be to your liking. The currency in use at present is the Lev. There are aprroximately 2.7 Lev to the £1.

One side of the beach road is grand hotels the other is hotdog fastfood and tat stalls There are no toilets in the bars and the few pay toilets arent fit for pigs .there is a pedestrian walk but you risk being knocked over by silent golf buggies or electric scooters which creep up on you.The road have never been swept witness the millions(I mean millions)of ciggy ends lying about .The beach itself is good and the sea is warm

Sunny beach is only a 20 min bus ride from airport resort center, flower st clean further out paths and roads are dirt paths.
Couldnt fault the beach very clean sea warm very shallow and safe.

sunny beach was very clean the beaches was clean and there was plenty of entertainment. but after a week we were fed up with the tacky same shops. we did not enjoy this holiday and would not go back even if it was paid for me.

This resort is a bit like Blackpool but without the lights!! The beach is fantastic and the sea was lovely and warm with a gentle slope so quite safe, lifeguards are on the beach and if they think it's getting a bit dodgy they blow their whistles and wave their arms about a lot, you have to draw your own conclusions as to what this means!
The sea front is 8km long so that means 8km of fast food sellers, tacky shops, and crazy golf places plus the usual assortments of bars and restaurants, still pretty cheap at the moment but I don't suppose that wil last. So not much to do if the weather turns a bit iffy (which it did) and it's too cold to sit on the beach. If I went back to this resort I would go July / August as the weather is more consistantly good.

Just returned backed from bulgaria and was very pleased that we visited there. The resort has plenty to offer from good nights out to peaceful walks along the beach. Their are plenty of eating places to choose from pizza snacks to juicy steaks. The beach was lovely not to crowded this time of year and easily got a sun bed. The water was clean and nice to swim in. Didn't see no jellyfish so no worrys there. We would visit the resort again maybe in a few years time and try out a few more trips on offer around bulgaria but would probably go abit earlier as the weather was abit up and down in the week. A few days of rain which stopped us going out on a boat trip around bulgaria. Would do that next time.

Plenty going on in an up and coming resort. Enough for all ages. Lots of choice for places to eat and drink, many bargains to be had.
The beach was extremely clean with plenty sun loungers available.
Just a lack of litter bins but that said there was no rubbish about!

Food outside the hotel was a bit better and there were any amount of bars and restaurants to choose from . They do tend to serve cold food and it seems that nothing you can do or say will change that.
There are a few trips to pick from but i would advise against the green river trip, the place seems to be dead of any sort of life, while i was there i did not see one bird or mammal.

Beach was dirty with few litter bins & the sands where full of fag ends etc How they get the blue flag I do not know.
Entertainment was very good for 2.5 km you can not see the sea re cheapo market type shops on the beach road.
I've been to Bulgaria but will not return until they clean the resort.

I found a lot of the resort cheap and tacky!
Loads of entertainment though, and plenty of nice places to eat out! Not as cheap as a lot of people make it out to be.
