All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

beach is filthy no bins right down the beach front.....be sure to have holiday insureance becouse you want to look out for the bikes! entertainment its ok.

Really enjoyed Sunny Beach, Loads of good bars and retaurants for tastes.
Fantastic beach, but dont walk on the sand barefoot...I burnt my feet!! and watch out for the jelly fish, although they didnt sting!
Bit of a trek to town from the hotel but worth the walk. (nice cabbies on the way back after a heavy one) can get em down to 15 lev if your good at barganing.
Didnt have any trouble with the negative things we read about before we went, I.e no prostitutes, pick pockets or aggro drunks. few beggars but nothing to worry about.

Have they never heard of bins in Bulgaria. Litter thrown anywhere, beautiful beach covered in dog-ends.
We weren't expecting sunny beach to be SO commercialised, is like blackpool with sun. Traders are in your face all the time,to use their restaurant etc.
Lots of photograhers taking & selling photos on beach etc. Sea is lovely, like a warm bath, calm some days, wavey & fun others.
Quality of restaurant food generally poor, take-away kebabs/pizza etc OK. Generally, after initial shock, we enjoyed sunny beach & had good holiday.
Think is more suited to 18-30's though.

Nessebar ideal place to stay.Resort clean lots of bars.
Beach close to hotel,very busy,lots of cigarette butts.
Sunny beach 4 miles away very very busy.(Like Blackpool)
Old Nessebar close by,lovely worth a visit.
Next time try somewhere else in Bulgaria

I did not find Sunny Beach all that clean and the drains stank, we had no entertainment at our hotel which did'nt bother us, the beach was okay, but you never felt that you could go into the sea together for fear off your bag being stolen i did'nt trust the folk always got the feeling they were talking about you, i would never visit Bulgaria again once is more than enough.

the only problem with the resort was the sea, which contained many jellyfish, both harmless and harmful to people swimming in the sea.

Sunny Beach has gone downhill a bit over the last few years, the streets are not kept as clean as they once were and some nights I struggled to find some pubs with music other than, Thump !, Thump !, Thump !.
If you know what I mean.
The Police should really clamp down on the beggers and such like to help tourists but they dont seam interested

Sunny Beach is a fantastic place to visit. We had never been before, so this was a lovely surprise.
Its shopping heaven for people who love designer clothes, bags, sunglasses etc. Even though it is all fake, you will get a good copy at a good price.
Nessebar had a lot of choices and was slightly cheaper than Sunny Beach.
I think Bulgaria was quite similar to Turkey, minus the haggling.
All in all, Sunny Beach is a great holiday and i would definitely go back.

Beer outside of Hotel is 1 lev (40 pence for a large beer), we went out for a meal seven of us had main meals, steaks, chicken etc, 3 desserts, coffees, soft drinks and cocktails (lots of!) Bill was fifty pounds!If you have booked this Hotel - good choice you won't be disappointed. don't even think of changing it!
