All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

I loved everything about Sunny Beach. In the evening, the atmosphere was fantastic with lots of people just wandering along the promenade.

Bulgaria in itself if fantastic. Beautiful friendly people and loads of bargins. The beach and weather is faultless. I would recommend Bulgaria to everyone. But if you like 3 star in Britain the you need 4 star in Bulgaria.

Sunny Beach is a really nice resort, very clean, loads of bars (extremely cheap beer), loads of eating places and loads of shops (although all the stuff they sell is junk and fakes). There is a big shopping complex with good shops in it, where there is also a KFC.
Beach is very big, lovely and clean and so is the water.
Had a medical problem with one of the kids (massive rash and stuff) and went to the local private hospital which was about a 15 minute walk from this hotel, they were brilliant and couldn't do enough for you, didn't even need my insurance or medical cards when we were there, they just said call in tomorrow with them or ring form the hotel with the details!
There is a water park on the way out of the resort but didn't get around to it.

Would definitely go to Sunny Beach again and probably will one day.

Have been to Sunny Beach 3 times its a great resort very cheap, good beaches stretching the entire length of Sunny Beach.Only gripe is the food is not upto the standards of of other euro countrys.Best restaurant in SB is Djannys.

Sunny Beach is bouncing, we are in our fifties and enjoyed it, something for everyone, quiet places to drink and eat can be found. Climate was excellent, very hot days and cool at night, didn't get bitten once.
There are a lot of youngsters there, but didn't see any bother. The main walkways are lively with plenty of good shops and excellent bars with entertainment.
The only thing that annoyed us was the Taxi Bikes and the golf buggies who were trying to wind their way through the busy streets.
We did see two places outside where they had snakes for you to put around your neck for a photo.
Unfortunately, two nights before our return my wife had her purse stolen from her handbag, which left the evening and the last day very flat.
The Rep advised us to go to the Police Station and report it but when we got there two people were before us and it was the third day that they had to come back. We waited for over one hour out side in the heat and gave up because we were flying home next day.
Some fab hotels there all in excellent locations.
Very good quality clothing on offer, jeans from £15 to £24.
T-Shirts £6.
We had Pizzas on two occasions which were really good.
The exchange rate we had here to go was 250 Levs to the pound, but the rate in the hotel was 270, far better.
Fruit sellers on the street were offering us fruit by hand, we didn't accept for obvious reasons.
Overall very good value for money.

Would return to Sunny Beach. Lots to do for children. Great nightlife. Lovely beach. Great pubs and restaurants. Activities to suit all ages.

Great place to go! Foods & drink are really cheap.
I would recommend shopping around for goods as prices do very in different shops, I found the shops away from the promenade were cheaper and don’t be scared to push them on price. We got a Henna tattoo down to 25lev from 40lev so they will try it on! We also went in to Bourgas shopping but I didn't think it was much cheaper really depended what you wanted, there wasn't much difference in clothes, but food was even cheaper!
It was our first trip to Bulgaria and we will definitely be going back!
