All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort was clean though there are a lack of bins on the streets and we did get handed a lot of leaflets with nowhere to throw them. The entertainment was excellent, something to suit everyone old and young. We only went to the beach once but seemed like a nice beach though very crowded. I would probably not go to the resort again because I would rather see more of Bulgaria and the resort was a bit too busy.

Definately the resort was lovely, the beaches were clean the only thing that did bother me was the people outside trying to get you into their restaurant to eat but once you said no they would leave you alone. We did find a lovely place called the Picadilly the food was excellent as well as the staff.
There isn't a lot of pubs as opposed to restaurants even though you could just go in for a drink I think a few pubs were needed there rather than places to eat.

the resort is now a concrete jungle, any space and a hotel is being built on it. the pavements are cracked and lifting up. impossible to walk out at night without being jostled or harassed by fruit sellers/touts etc. lapdancing/gogo bars/strip bars are now in the resort, which is no longer child friendly. the beach itself is pleasant enough.

this resort is very busy later on in the evening so watch out for pick pockets we was ok but did hear of a lad being mugged they took his chain and money so be very carefull. the beach is full of sunbeds to many if you ask me.sea is great you can see fish swim past your feet and crabs in the sand. you should go on the boat trip to nessabar its great 10 lev for a 20 minute ride well worth it.lots of other places to go .dont take fruit of people in street you think they are giving you a couple of grapes so you eat them then they want money of you always ask how much before you take anything dont forget to bargin with them its great when you bargin with them and you get things alot cheaper.

plenty of night life culbs,bars etc lots of people on street asking you to go into there pub and you can have free drink and icecreams for children.
watch out for pick pockets plenty of them. would recomend a bum bag for your money
the resort is very cheap lots to see and do baech is good you can see little fish swimming past you so good for children to take a fishing net in the sea and catch them.
you can walk out into the sea for quit a bit and the water will still only be waist high so very good againg for kids.
i will be going back and would be telling people to go there too

the resort was not too bad through the day ,though busy ,nowhere near as busy as nighttime, we had snakes ,crocodiles thrown on us and pictures taken every where you turned with children it cost at least 10 lev, if they pass something to your children, your children want it pictures toys that light up cards, they had there money from us ,in the week we where there.if you do have children with you keep a sharp eye on them as it very busy at nights .the beach is full of cig dimps from stepping on it to the sea and you have to pay to sit on the deck chairs 18 lev , there is no space to take a towel sit on that and let the children build sand castles, as the beach was also very busy ,we have been to bulgaria before and do prefer the golden sands resort ,as it is a quieter resort , the beach is cleaner not as many deck chairs ,could take a towel and make castles in the sand , do think golden sands is better for familys with young children.

loved it, did so much, bungee rocket, mini golf, quad bikes on beach, mopeds, massages next to pool and in victoria palace hotel spa.

Eating out was very cheap and enjoyable. Bars and diners to suit all tastes.Touts sometimes a little irritating!!
Men with snakes and crocodiles for photographs,and lots of seedy bars not great for younger children.Half a lev to use the toilet in a restaurant where you are eating is annoying especially when accompanied by a rude attendant!!
Not a particularly welcoming place for families it seems like everyone is trying to rip you off!! 18 levs to sit on the beach!!! On the whole a good experience!!!

The centre of the resort is very loud and busy. There is something to appeal to all tastes as far as nightlife is concerned. There are all the usual souveneir shops (see one you've seen them all) but pleasant to stroll through. Lots to do for children, water park, quad bikes, mini golf and fairground stalls that do archery and shooting. We found the resort to be generally clean including the beach. Cheap to eat out and drink and we would go back again. We had a lovely holiday.

A lovely lively resort with a good choices of entertainment and places to eat you can shop till you drop.A trip to Nessabar on the local bus is cheap and well worth a visit, Khan's Tent is a great night out and the variety show is first class.I would visit the resort again at a later date as I found it a good relaxing holiday but with plenty to keep me occupied during my two week stay and the weather was hot and sunny all the way through.
