All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

In a word Superb, the restaurants we visited were excellent and were the many many many bars we found.
The beach was so clean and the staff friendly.
I would reccomend a trip to nessabar as a must and by boat 10lev each way, But be warned don't do it on a weak stomach, we did and it's not pretty.
The resort was not what i expected, very little trouble that we seen and enough security to feel safe.
Highly reccomended for adults but not too sure for young children

We stayed in sunny beach for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. lots to dofound some nice places to eat fat cat, chilli peppers. The cycle bikes on the front are a pain as a accident will happen soon!They nearly ran into my 3 children many times.The food is very cheap. would go back to sunny beach as there is so much to do my children really enjoyed it aged 3,6 and 8. Ive never been to a place with so much life!!!

Pavements were broken and dangerous.
Not very good entertainment at all in town, was quite pricey too.
Beach was ok. Quite clean.
Wouldnt visit again.

Sunny Mall is definately where it all happens. The beach is superb with longers and parasols. The sea is warm, clear and surprisingly not very salty! Parascending and jet ski's available.
Every sort of restaurant imaginable availsble. All type of market type stalls, street vendors etc all along the fornt.
Very lively, bright and loud in the evenings. My lads even found an Internet Cafe.
Old Nessebar is about 15 mins by taxi along the coast and well worth a visit. It is definately more laid back.
The whole resort was generally very clean but who "builds" their roads??

Sunny Beach is a lovely resort which I have been to several times, there's plenty to do and see at night, lovely restuarnts I would recommend the Condor and Djanneys very good value for money. The beach is superb and very clean. During the day you could visit New Nessabar which has lovely shops or Old Nessabar for a bit of history just jump on th local bus which runs every 10min. The waterparks a brilliant and a great day out. Anyone who might have walking difficulties will find it quite easy to get about as the resort is all on the flat although some of the pavements can be pretty high

The resort of Sunny Beach is also nothing to write home about. The bars and clubs had no entertainment, the drinks were like juice and some bars had strippers, not exactly great for kids to watch. The beach on the other hand was like heaven, so clean and calm, we visited the beach more regular than staying the hotel. The resort itself was clean & tidy although on the streets they had poor animals like baby crocadiles & snakes, with their mouths celotaped together and no water to drink, Horses looked like they had been beaten and struggling to carry the carts on there back as they needed water badly. Also watch out for prostitues, we set down for dinner one nite and the table next to us was full of them, big black cars pulling up for them and leaving one by one, ridiculous it was. Never will be back to this resort again, not exactly suitable for the children or young teens.

There is rubbish everywhere and very few bins in the streets.Plenty of restaurants but when you order you will be lucky to get your food together.My wife had to wait 45mins one night to get her main course.The standard of food is very poor compaired to spain,greece and all the other tourist countries.Bulgaria is 25 years behind spain and i dont ever see it catching up.We didnt go to the beach so i cant comment about that.All in all if you want cheep food ,cheep drink and copy clothes you will love bulgaria but i wont be back.

If you want culture and seeing "the old Bulgaria" forget it! If you want bars, super restaurants and lots to do then you can't go wrong. Still cheap as anywhere else you could find. Will be going back!

Its a great holiday for couples as we arrived at half two in the morning i wanted something to eat and all i got was a baked tattie as every where else was shut. One word of advice DO NOT GO TO DISCO ORANGE unless you have boots on as it is swimming with broken glass. Good Music though.
there is two chinese resturants both are really good.
beach is great AND IF YOU WANT A MASSAGE ON THE BEACH YOUR IN THE RIGHT PLACE.Lovely.

the resort was spotless but could have more bins for rubbish beach was superb the craic was mighty in the bars do the bungy ha ha the happy duck for cheap drink and the haunted house was a scream when my wife and grandaughter were in lol would i visit sunny beach again? after having a great time in golden sands last year i think not! maybe a different hotel
