We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Sunny Beach is a fantastic resort catering for all ages. The beaches, bars and restaurants are great value for money. There is a mini train which goes round the resort it gives you a chance to see places which you would not normally find. You can also hire golf cars, mopeds (battery operated), bikes and take a pony and trap.
Sunny Beach - highly recommended.

Plenty to do in the resort for kids, there's a fairground haunted house and bunjy jumps. Lots of restaurants, bars and night clubs. There are a few Bulgarian nights which are good.
Plenty of shops theres also a market across from the kuban hotel which is really cheap. Plenty of mini trains to go into main resort.

Sunny beach is lovely for young people. The beach is beautiful and well maintained. You do have to pay to sit on the beds and for the parasol (9lv = £3) but it was well worth it!
Plenty of water sports and things to do all at reasonable prices.
The strip has lots and lots of bars that back onto the beach and offer buy one get one free on cocktails on happy hour and offer free shots etc. There are also 3 clubs that i visited Club orange was good and easy to get to, lazor was amazing, it big and has a swimming pool and flumes! There is also club mania and go go girls for the boys. During my visit i enjoyed drunken rides on the rodeo, bungee and horse riding on the beach. There are plenty of places to eat and loads of 24 hour shops. If you can go on an organised pub crawl, great way to meet new people and check out the best places to eat and drink.

There are quite a lot of trips you could do from Sunny Beach, from seeing traditional Bulgaria to going on a Catamaran to spot dolphins. We chose the Catamaran, this trip was great although the dolphins we saw were quite far away, apparently normally they come quite close to the boat. We anchored up for lunch and a spot of snorkelling in the sea before returning along the coast. Don’t forget sun cream for this trip, you WILL burn a lot quicker at sea. Khans Tent is a must do trip, it’s at a restaurant up in the mountains (you get a brilliant view over Sunny Beach at night time), traditional Bulgarian 4 course dinner with a band providing music (English singing), a bottle of wine each and some excellent entertainment in the variety show after dinner. There was a female contortionist who got herself into a bird cage, fire eaters, plate spinners, dancers, acrobats, who all put on an amazing show. The Rep at this hotel Dani was excellent, with answers to all your questions and lots of advice and suggestions.
Outside of the hotel, there is a touristy strip running between the hotel and the beach, with bars, restaurants, shops etc. There are loads of shops selling fake designer goods and copied DVDs, they all seem to charge the same prices, no-one is offering a better deal though maybe they have an agreement to do this? If you are looking for the ‘centre’ of this area, head to the right when you come out of the hotel (rear, not the front). The strip stretches for a good half hour walk if not more. We did eat out one evening, 4 large cocktails, starter and 2 main courses came to equivalent of £15, so it is still fairly cheap here. Most bars have happy hours that last from midday til midnight so these aren’t brilliant deals, check the prices of the drinks before you order to check you are getting a good offer. Like most destinations the measures are strong. The PR people trying to get you into restaurants or bars aren’t really that pushy but have a spiel they like to finish even if you are still walking away, there are also a lot of people handing out leaflets and flyers and you end up with about 10 after just a few hundred metres walk. Beware of the golf buggies being driven up and down this strip, sometimes by young kids, they are for hire and a lot of lazy people use them to get around this area instead of using their legs even though this section is pedestrianised, they will drive right up behind you and they are practically silent you they will catch your heels if not careful! We saw many near misses between buggies and pedestrians.
The beach is littered with cigarette butts from the lazy smokers who can't be bothered to get up to dispode of them properly, but apart from this is well maintained and has a flag system for safety.

All what you read about Sunny Beach is true but go with an open mind and enjoy yourselves. The beach is excellent with plenty going on. The town comes to live at night with bars galore with happy hours on nearly all day somewhere. A large beer is 1 Lev in some bars. We went on the Jeep Safari which was great fun and you got a chance to see the countryside at the sametime. We went on the Bulgarian night and Khans Tent both were good value and very enjoyable nights out. One bar to mention Whacky Paddys music goes on late.

This was our first visit to Sunny Beach and it will not be my last so much so I have just booked for next year. The beach is endless and so clean sunbeds 9 euro for the day for 2 people. Djannys is a good restaurant but gets to packed and food sometimes cold due to the volume of people eating there. The House is a good restaurant also. Barcardi bar for all your coctails, and shopping is endless if you like fake designer gear, glasses, bags, jeans etc. very cheap. There are a few beggars on the roads in the evening we passed them every night just ignore them and they leave you alone after a few nights.

We stayed in Sunny Beach which was great! There was an abundance of shops selling clothes, gifts and much more. The beach was very clean and you could hire sunbeds and parasols for a small charge.
There was many restaurants over the whole resort offering a variety of meals to suit everyone.
We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to everyone.

Sunny Beach is huge there are bars and restaurants everywhere and there is a new shopping mall with the barcelo mall which is very classy and expensive compared to the rest of the so called shops. The beach is clean but mobbed and you have to pay for the toilets which were not very clean.
People are always asking you to eat or drink at there place but if you say no they are nice and just say maybe tomorrow if using mcdonalds check that you are charged the right amount as we spoke to a lot of people who were overcharged as we were.
There are plenty of fake clothes, bags, dvds, cds and games quality is varied but the prices are all the same.We really enjoyed the resort and would visit again you can do as much or as little as you want at a very reasonable price.
