All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort of sunny beach is brill, plenty of night life, a visit to the old town of nessebar is a must, will return in 2008 (though not to the sun palace!!!).
Our thanks to djannys bistro which is located in the market area. This is by far the best restaurant in sunny beach. 10/10 for quality, quantity of food and drink.
The starters are a meal in themselves, and large beer for 1 lev (40p!!!)

would deffinatley go back very nice resort. beach and water sports great. loads of restaurants which serve good food very cheap. overall a very enjoyable holiday

Sunny Beach is lovely. We were there in May and it was quite quiet but that suited us as we had out 5 month old baby with us. I think it picks up towards the end of May/ June.
Definately would go back. Infact booked up for September 2007.

great place, great beach. going back this year. loads to do day and night. water park is a must but be careful as theres 2 and 1's pants. the good 1's in nessebar

Resort was clean but paths were realy bad and uneven. we were not told that after 4 days of our hols all the bars and eating places would close 1 by 1 another 1,2, or 3 being borded up every day till it looked like a ghost town. To much loss of money by gypsies. Saw bear which was awful, also prostitutes, would not return though the place itself is lovely.

We stayed in the north side of Sunny Beach easy to market stalls but a little too far to the entertainment for disabled people without using a taxi or buggy.

Sunny beach is lovely and flat very suitable for disabled people or persons having difficulty in walking.

The beach is so close to the hotel very clean, lovely sea, just brill.

Resort is clean and tidy. Beach is very good and there are plenty of sun beds.There is quite a bit of entertainment on to suit all needs.There is some crime in the resort mainly pickpockets so you have to be vigilant at all times.It was our first visit to Sunny Beach not sure we would go back but still had a good holiday.

Sunny Beach for me has grown too big and fast with new buildings going up all the time. Next year will be even more crowdwed once the huge Royal Garden complex opens and it does look very impressive.
Street cleaning carried out all the time and seeing the old ladies with the brushes takes you back some years.
Plenty of bars,restaurants and clubs .
I do wish the authorities would ban the photographer's with the snakes and crocodiles although I was pleased to not see the bear this year.
Best cocktails we had were at the Junona opposite the Royal Garden complex and the 2 girls serving are excellent along with Tony who encourages you in, very friendy.( He recognised both my wife and I from last year without prompting).
We still enjoy SB and will no doubt be back next year.
