All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.
We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

resort was generally clean. did see beggars and bears, snakes etc; but were not bothered with them. did not see any prostitutes and only saw one incident on the beach which my wife thought was over the top but i think the lifeguards had no choice as this young boy appeared to be quite "mouthy" when asked to come out of the water. the part we were at didn't have much entertainment but the food was of a reasonable standard.the beach was good except for all those red flags.not much in the way of things to take home although bought a portrait, son girlfriend and grandson, which was excellent.tends to be a wee bit dearer nearer the beach but food and drink still affordable. sunny beach not for everybody. i think it may depend which part you are at.

The resort is very dirty, the beach itself was clean though, people are really rude, I've never met such ignorant people, they try anything to get money from you, even make you pay to use the toilets, be very careful where you eat too. They don't seem to like hot food.
Gypsies are a real nuisance especially the children, they are excellent pickpockets though. Prostitution is everywhere too. The place is ok if you just want to sit drinking all day, but theres nothing for the kids.
The beach front is just full of market stalls thats it.

Went to this resort 10yrs ago had a realy good holiday.
Stayed in hotel Sever Yug really got spoilt with all building work that they are doing. I think they should concentrate on the pavement,s they are terrible

When we visited Sunny Beach they were nearing the end of their Summer season. There was not much going on in the evenings. Some bars had live bands/singers which were very good. Others just played music or TV. A couple of exceptions were Spider Bar and Central Bar which are well worth a visit. Drink is very cheap.
A good resort with plenty of shops for the shopoholics amongst you.
If you like walking then you will have a great time. There is not much else to do in Sunny Beach other than shopping and walking.
I would return to Sunny Beach again for another holiday

Plenty of shops which are amazingly cheap as Bulgaria is not in the EU until next year, so make the most of it.
We read about people having crocodiles and snakes for photographs, its easier to avoid these if possible. Also seen a bear in shackles but it is their way of life, they do not pester you at all.

Plenty of shops which are amazingly cheap as Bulgaria is not in the EU until next year, so make the most of it.

The resort was spotless, there was never litter anywere, a very clean resort! the beach was also spotless, infact it was a beautiful beach one of the best beaches ive seen!
I would vist the resort again, but I would try going on the trips they have to offer, I've been to see the dolphins and that was the only trip I went on, but there is lots and lots to vist which I have been told are very good.

We stayed in Sunny Beach. Sunny Beach is a nice resort plenty of bars and restuarants, mostly doing pizzas and barbecues. Good for eating out.

pavements were badly broken
watch out for the people who change money in the kiosks around the resort, they tell you that you get a certain amount for your pounds but give you less so dont be conned change your money in the hotels
