All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

Keep away please.
No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The local vendors were very friendly.
Everything was very cheap and local cuisine was delicious.
We were spoilt for choice on where to eat every night. (the sunny fast food stalls behind the majestic have the best pancakes in sunny beach and very friendly staff)

resort very good.
loads of bars
loads of places to eat,although you can never guarantee what youwill end up with as most dont speak english.
tons of shops.
a bit rundown in places.
a few beggars.
people with bears ,crocs snakes,lizards.
lots of scams and cons going on .
dont change money unless its at crown booths or banks,and check and recheck the exchange rate,as even these will try to fool you.
the area at the beach front is very busy,loads of golf buggys and electric bikes.
loads of bars

The resort is great in the heart of everything we did visit elenite as friends were there but sunny beach is definately the place to be if you want things to do every night even if it's just walking around looking in the hundreds of shop's. If you went on a pub crawl doubt you'd get very far there are loads of bars & resturants.
Both me & hubby had tattoo's done while we were there in the tattoo place next to the hotel. Their sign has a tribal face on it. The tattoist's name is Niki & his very beautiful wife Mira who does manicure & pedicure. They also do piercing. Everyone thought we were mad having them done but they are excellent it didn't hurt & he break's every needle in front of you.
I would recommend them to any one the tattoo's hardly scabbed & we have had no prob's with them at all. They have come out alot better than the original picture's we chose. My husband has a tiger & the detail is brilliant. Mine is a sort of sun I'd been after 1 for along time & am really pleased with it. So not only is Niki Extremly good & tallented compared to uk price's he's extremly cheap it was 300lev for both & I'd been quoted over here £150 and as for hubby's I'd say £200. If you know what you want then take the pic with you or he has plenty of books to look at but book it for the day you leave or you can't go in the pool or the sea as I found out but hey ho small price to pay.
The beach is very packed & they charge for the sun bed's If you can find a space on the sand then grab it. The sea is warm & clean I did go in up to my waist.
The kids loved it.
Watch out for fruit sellers as the won't tell you they want stinkies & not lev & if you make the mistake I did on the 1st day of giving them lev they didn't tell you or give you change I paid about £10.00 for a small bag of fruit to late by the time I realised .....
I think no matter what age you are there is something for everyone in Sunny Beach. Wherever we went they all looked & it was oh big family & they love the kid's as there aren't many children out there due to the cost of living for them. Their average wage is £100 - £150.00 a month alot of people say the can't afford them & you may see a couple of gypsie kid's begging on the street's.
The People in general are lovely. We are definitely going back.

Sunny Beach is a lovely resort although can perhaps see it becoming the next Magalluf in a few years.
Beaches were superb for children with very clear and clean waters and perfect sand.
Bulgarians can come across as quite rude and there were beggars aplenty.
Seeing an elderly man walking a brown bear on a lead was quite disturbing for both myself and my children.

Sunny Beach seemed clean enough. A bit of litter here and there but nothing too excessive.
The entertainment in the resort was brilliant for us. We travelled with young children who felt that this was their best holiday ever. They enjoyed the magic shows, endless mini golf courses, bungee trampolines, inflatable slides and amusements. We visited the water park (Action Aqua Park) and had a fantastic day out. The kids were only allowed on three slides but that was enough for them - they just kept going up and down and they were very good. We had been to a waterpark elsewhere last year where the kids weren't allowed on anything and it was a complete waste of money but Action Aqua Park was thoroughly enjoyed by all of us.
The beach was lovely but very crowded and when we went down late morning we had difficulty getting a sunbed and umbrella. When we walked down the beach further into Sunny Beach we felt that there was a bit of a litter problem but our end was fine. The sea was clear and very warm.
We will almost defintely return to Sunny Beach in the future. The only negative side to the holiday was the mosquitos so don't forget to take plenty of insect repellant and bite relief for when you have been bitten (believe me you'll be lucky to escape as none of us did!!). The other not so good bit was the airport which was a bit basic but we were very lucky and had no delays so we didn't have to spend too long there.

The resort cleanliness was outstanding, no sooner was something dropped on the floor out came a lady with her sweeping brush and voila, it was gone!
I have labelled the resort entertainment as a 3 but really can't comment, our child preferred to go to bed in the evening, so we didn't see much of that unfortunately, as there appeared to be lots going on.
The beach standard was quite high but lots of uncleanly holiday makers leaving there cig butts around which made for a slight dissappointment, not very nice getting one of them between ya toes!
Lots of shops selling fake gear, namely diesel, that seemed to be the biggest name. Lots of fake designer handbags etc. lots of ladies wanting to tie your hair into lots of tiny plaits!!
There were lots of people wanting you to go into their bar, but they weren't pushy, but they were persistant! It all makes for entertainment!!
The aquapark bus picks up from outside the Condor hotel on the main road, don't be fooled into standing outside the marvel on the inner road, like we were!!!
If however you do visit the aquapark, we suggest only pay for 1/2 day ticket, as there isn't much to take you past that, as there aren't many rides there.
Overall had an absolutely fab time and would definitely return for another holiday at sunny beach.

New Nessebar Bulgaria which was between main sunny beach and old town of Nessebar.
Very convenient for local bus for a few pence or tourist train to get about. Felt safe walking along the streets night and day to visit old town and also many bars and restaurants in the area. The beach was very busy and the bars and hotels had private areas where you needed to pay for their beds and drinks. Other areas of beach for free general bathing.
A few beggars about but generally the area was hassle free you could walk past bars/clubs and shops without being hassled into buying but always watch bags for pickpockets Bourgas airport small and busy. Slow with arrivals but quicker with departures we had 2 night flights with both on time.
Be careful with departure luggage weight keen to charge and if you have no money left their will be problems as credit cards not taken. Cheap to eat and drink but prices were variable tending to be more expensive at airport and in hotels but still cheapest holiday drinks we have had.

Resort did have a lot of litter partly due to the lack of bins and the giving out of promotional tickets.
Loads of entertainment - something for everyone.
Beach was fairly clean but had some litter and cigarette butts. Sea was clear but had loads of seaweed.
We would not visit resort again because it was a little too busy for us. We might visit Golden Sands another year.

the resort was fine. not much entertainment any where for the kids. the water sports were good.

The resort has changed since last year it seemed a lot busier hence more rubbish. The resort entertainment is fabulous with something for everyone we especially enjoyed the Arizona Bar with the live band Sound Forge.
The Beach was clean with plenty of watersports at reasonable prices.
This is our second visit to Sunny Beach and would probably go again the most annoying things were the golf carts ans motor scooters as the promenade is that busy at nights it was hard to get about and avoid them at the same time
