Went to the Electra 20 august 2006 for one week all inclusive. Stayed in the two bedroom apartment, room clean and tidy but maid didn't come in everyday. Breakfast OK, lunch time menu excellent, evening menu very repetitive.

Waiting staff excellent can't do enough for you. Outside restaurant seating area also used as entertainment area difficult to find a seat, also seats often wet because of people using restaurant at lunchtime coming up straight from the pool.

Most nights had to sit in seated reception area to have a drink but no air conditioning.

Entertainment ideal for young children couple of better nights when brought in outside entertainment.

Loved Cyprus but wouldn't visit this hotel again.

Well this is our 7th time at the Electra have been coming for 3 years and we love it. This was the second time this year we came. A lot of things had changed the drinks were horrible too sweet and flat.

The pool was not maintained a lot of kids cut their feet on lights that were broken and hanging of in the pool. Complained to the rep but nothing was done!!!

All the bar staff are really lovely and friendly.

This hotel is not like the brochure. Although it does have some good points like its right in the middle of Ayia Napa which is great.

It is clean and the people are great.

Pool ok but needs to be looked at round the edges and floors round pool area needs to be done.
Sunbed was not a problem for us but they are old and very dangerous one knocked me on the head and I was out for five minutes, no first aid about no one to help just some ice from bar!!

Alex is really great has the right attitude and he is a good entertainer!!!!

Food was ok at breakfast and lunch but evening we ate in there for the first 4 days then we went elsewhere as it was really that bad!!!

Do not order coke from bar it does not taste right!!

Me and my girlfriend came to Ayia Napa in July 2006 on the 16th. We thought the accommodation was great, bar staff was quality especially Jimmy (the best) Jaro, Rado, Michael, Tassos, all very friendly too, we were sad to leave the hotel.

The kids loved it to with Jolly John and Loopy Lou, I wish I could stay there longer thank you for a good time, I would def visit again

Well The Electra. Where do I start?

Great Location. Plenty of places to nip out and get a decent meal if you are fed up with the hotel food. Ayia Napa is dead in the daytime so not the best place to choose with young children because everywhere is shut.

The food in the dining room in evenings was bearable. In all honesty you just got sick of looking at it every night. The hotel does an excellent daytime menu though with plenty of good food available to order, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. Have to say though the hotel did one of the best breakfast choices that I have ever seen for a hotel. Plenty of choice for breakfast if you are an early bird.

By the way you will need to be if you want to grab a sunbed!

The staff were all very polite. The only time I had to complain was about our redundant cleaner. Where was she? Three times I had to request for our room to be cleaned as it was left untouched for 2-3 days at a time. I am not a moaner but We all need clean towels and toilet tissue.
However once I mentioned our problem to reception the matter was ALWAYS sorted.

The apartment was spacious, the kitchen area spotless and the beds comfy enough. However the bathroom could do with a good scrub down as there is grout worn out and cracked tiles which did not help with the ant problem. We were happy with our room though. We were lucky and got pool view on ground level.

The bar staff were great. The drinks are good to. Not watered down like in most All Inclusives that we have stopped in.

The Entertainment! I thought that the entertainment team did a very good job during our stay. Despite having problems of staff coming and going and dodgy sound equipment. Gemma and Jen are lovely girls trying their best. They thought that they were awful but judging back on some entertainment teams in the past these young ladies are very good! Please be nice, they are not working at the Ritz!

Kids Club Reps! What lovely people. My kids have never been interested in Kids Clubs before. That is until my kid's met Jolly John. He was fab with the kids. He worked his heart out to keep them entertained and his hard efforts paid of because ALL the kids adored him. Some of us adults did to. He was a natural and it is a pity that some of you heading out to the Electra won't get to meet him because he is leaving FC. Electric El was also very pleasant to chat to. It DOES make a difference when the Reps take that little bit of time to liaison with the customers. I hope you make it to the cabin crew Eloise!

All in all We had a great holiday here at the Electra. We have met some great friends also. Hi to Kerry, Jason and Bryany, Jenny, Chris and Aaron. You also made our holiday memorable. You are a great bunch! Gemma and Jen keep up the good team work! And Jolly John We will see you soon.

Thanks for a great holiday to all the Electra Staff!

The electra is a good place we all enjoyed ourselves here it is right on the beach which is full of water sports and amazing. it is only a few minutes walk from the town which is full of shops, bars, clubs and restarants. The beach is a little rocky but the next beach along about 5-10 minutes walk is good.

The hotel was pretty clean and the rooms were quite big we had 3 rooms between 9 people and all were good. The all inclusive food was brilliant maybe a little repetitive in 2 weeks but it was all good. THe hotel staff always said hello and were all very nice and always spoke to you and made you feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. The entertainment was Ok Bingo everynight but there was some good nights with Elvis, Madonna and international dancers.

i would visit this hotel again it was a good holiday.

Just got back from the Electra and we had a fantastic holiday. The Kids Reps (Jolly John, Electric El and Loopy Lou) were fantastic with the kids, they didn't want to come home.

Food was OK but got a bit repetitive after two weeks so went out a few times. Children's meals were either chicken nuggets or chips!!!!

Jimmy the barman rocked......

Maids did a good job but didn't come every day. Watch out for the ants!!

What can we say about the entertainment staff - well not a lot... they were constantly arguing between themselves and there was a bad atmosphere. The PA system never worked and when it did they didn't seem to be sure of what they were doing.

All in all fabulous holiday, location good and would definitely return.

We loved this place. We are in our 20's it's great for couples and families.

Everything was so near by and close to the gorgeous beaches. A 20 minute walk to Bar Street. Everyone on the resort kept themselves to themselves I had the most enjoyable time I would recommend everyone of all ages to stay here. I might be coming back next year so watch out Napa I'll be back
