We got married at this Hotel in October 2003 and have returned here year after year, we are going again in October this year, and are hoping it is still as lovely,

We had a slight problem last year, as we noticed all the sunbeds and patio furniture appeared to have been painted and the paint was peelin off and sticking to you, we mentioned this to them so hopefully they have replaced this, the pool was also not as clean last year as the previous year, so hopefully it will be fine, i will write when i return in October.

I visited Cyprus with my boyfriend and I was a bit dissappointed that we had to walk so far from the hotel to the main square, where we spend most of out time, in the nightclubs. Its about a 25minute walk.

The hotel was located right by a beach which i was very pleased about as I love the beach!!
Just up the road, about a 5 minute walk was Pizza Hut, which I thought was fab!

There were plenty of sunbeds around the pool. So on the days we decided to stay round the pool there was enough for everyone!

The pool was of very high standard. Very clean and around the pool was also clean. Cleaners visited everyday to change the towels and did the bedsheets every 3 days.
Our room was just amazing!

We opened our patio doors and we had a perfect pool view room. We had a tele which we didnt watch but we knew it was there.

The bathroom was very clean and there was never any bugd which I was happy about. Little kitchen, but i dont cook on holiday so didnt use it. Plenty of hangers to hang ur clothes on and plenty of storage space. Also a big point, it was fully air conditioned. Was very glad!

The staff were very friendly and were happy to answer any queries as best as they could.
Only once did we see the childrens entertainment which i though was great for the kids. We were normally either sleeping before the night out or already out.

There was no noise at early hours so we did not get disturbed whilst sleeping which I was pleased about.

We booked All Inclusive, and enjoyed the food on offer. Did get a little fed up of eating towards the end of the two weeks!

The kids were catered for very well. The rooms I feel should be graded as a 3* as they were looking a little tired! The hotel was situated right on a very clean beach, and even though it was rocky, we all loved looking for crabs and fish and other creatures.

The beach was a great escape from the heat mid afternoon. The staff in the hotel were always very pleasant and worked very hard especially the waiters.

The entertainment was superb. Sacha and Emma were brilliant, they really made our holiday special! They both work really hard to entertain everyone, and were always really approachable. Don't miss the 'Round The World' caberet show. Max is a legend!

We would definately visit the hotel again, but will possibly book the AI food at resort. (Cheaper!)
The only thing that we were dissapointed in was the childrens club.

I had a really frosty reception from one of the reps there on the first day, and she was quite abrupt at times with adults as well as the children! As for the entertainment, the children did watch a lot of videos whilst they were in the club. There are 3 times when the children are requested to pay for the club during the week for 'special' themes, these cost 12cyp per week per child, but unless you really want your kids off of your hands, don't bother!

Electra is a place for a enjoyable family holiday. On arrival the check in to the hotel was quick and hassle free. Most of the staff are very helpful, rooms are a bit dated but they are very comfortable and clean and tidy.

The chef knows his stuff as we didn't have a complaint about the food in fact it was superb. Emma & Sasha were brilliant and it was a very friendly aptmosphere. The beer is Mmstel, Carlesburg and Keo. Jimmy the head waiter has a fantastic humour.

Its about a 5min walk to the first lot of shops. If you need a doctor dont go to one until youve visited the local chemist as he is a doctor and a very good one.

Go for the Electra as this is one of the best holidays we've had.

We booked all inclusive, and having not been to cyprus before didnt know what to expect. The hotel was excellent right from booking in to leaving, All the staff were very friendly and helpfull.

Jimmy the Head Waiter was Exceptional and please look out for forest gump the barman. Food was of a very high standard and never had to queue for meals, as in the brochure the hotel is right on the sea front.

Sasha and Emma the one stop entertainers did a fabulous job in keeping those that wanted to be entertained very happy.

I am not only going to visit here again, we are considering moving to cyprus, this is the effect it has had on my family.

This is our 2nd year back at Electra, and was great to see familiar faces, they all remembered us and seemed very happy that we'd returned (must be my charm haha).

Aaah, Forest Gump, I had a bit of a thing for him last year and my man done nothing but make jokes this year as soon as we seen him again lol.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they work very hard long hours for little pay and dont deserve the abuse some of them were getting from fellow holiday makers.

Had a few days of trouble due to unruly gypsies staying in the place but these were quickly dealt with and evicted by the manager and local police.

The food is good though does start to get repetitive in the 2nd week and still could do with more choice in the kids selection.

I would say the hotel is situated in a good place not too far into the main town (about a 20 min walk, depending on how much you get sidetracked by jewellery shops like me! Or the opposite way to nissi beach and after eating and drinking all that food and drink we all need a good walk hehe.
Although the kids always complained about walking and having to leave the poolside.

Didn't experience any problems with people doing number 2's in there this year and was always regularly cleaned. Didnt have any problems with the maid service room always clean and tidy and towels changed every other day.

Great to still see sasha there though it seemed a little flat since Mario left and there was no good morning electra anymore over the speakers, apparently due to complaints from boring holidaymakers, still exactly the same evening entertainment as last year but the kids always enjoy themselves and if they're happy.
We can relax and be happy, went to view property while here and will possibly be moving permantly within the next year, but will definately stay at electra again, a big thank you to the reps and all staff for another great holiday.

We thought the food was very good, something for everybody. If you asked you could have your drinks in glasses as long as you didn't take them to the pool.

Evening entertainment was non-existent for adults but ok for kids. Rooms were adequate

The food was quite good the only down side is there wasnt much choice for the kids. But it was good quality.

I think the location of this hotel is brilliant! Just minutes away is the town with quite alot of shops and a few bars but further on is Ayia Napa. In a taxi would not take more than 10 mins and there is a wider selection of shops e.t.c there.

The staff were very friendly well, most of them. I made a few friends with the cleaners who were very nice to talk to.

The entertainment wasnt very good for adults or teenagers but for children it was quite good and would keep them entertained.

The pool is very big and usually clean. A few times I have seen water polo being played and volleyball.

There is a kids club and swim kids club.
