The harbour was lovely. I'd recommend the cruise on the Wave Dancer, was a lovely evening (even with the kids).
The waterpark is really good too !!!

the area around our hotel Eleni village was small with a handful of bars and restaurants,
But you can catch a bus to the harbour for 80c or get a taxi , loads of bars shops and restaurants there well worth a bus ride to look around.
There isn't a beach as such by the hotel, but there is a small shingle bay, with an inlet great for snorkling.

We stayed in Paphos it was our third time. We have noticed an increase in price but its worth it. Cyprus is clean and beautiful.

Phapos centre and particularly the harbour are well worth visiting but the resort itself has nothing that special. Make sure you stay within walking distance of the harbour if you want to experience some of the more cultural aspects of thet place.

Paphos itself is quite nice especially around the harbour, but as I said bring lots of money as you will be lightened every where you go in the tourist areas i.e. food and drink are expensive compared to the price Cypriots pay (top tip bring buckets and spades and inflatable).
We hired a car for a week and got around a bit, bought our food and drink, in there own supper markets much much cheaper.
Finally Cyprus is a nice country well worth a visit, but the tourist seems to get fleeced
Compared to their own people, don't get me wrong you don't mind paying a little over the odds on your holidays, but if you feel done that's a different thing.

we found this resort to be very clean. myself and my husband did not venture into the resort for the entertainment, but our three teenage children often went into the bar street area of the resort once the hotel entertainment had finnished, and often came back just in time for breakfast. the beach was very clean and private, with life guards. we will be returning again in october.

hiring a car is a great idea.the resort is very clean with lots to see.the harbour in paphos is a good place to eat/drink and relax,,,people watching.the bars are good on bar street, with a good selection of places to eat.
the beaches are kept very clean and safe.we visited the tomb of the kings area, and coral bay.the drive to limmasol is breathtaking.just like driving in uk, we only hired the car for three days, but next time it will be longer, cyprus is a gem.

Paphos itself is a lovely harbour town with a wide variety of entertainment ranging from historical architecture such as the old fort; tombs of the kings; churches etc to modern shopping centres and markets; water sports; boat trips; lively night life (hidden away in the back streets so it's not in your face all the time).
Whilst there are two municiple beaches, several of the coastal hotels have their own private bays (some are sandy), these are very small. If you want a beach for the day, Coral Bay is the place to go but be warned - it gets packed all day, every day so go early to grab your spot!
Prices are fantastic. A pint of Keo (large lager) is approx £1.70 whereas half a pint is £1.20; a full English breakfast approx £2.50.
If you wear glasses; take your prescription over there (or have a free eyetest by qualified opticians in Paphos) and the frames & lenses really are MUCH cheaper than here at home.
As for cleanliness; litter is unheard of and unseen. Crime is extremely low and everyone is so pleasant & helpful it really is a pleasure to visit and shop there.

the hotel was very clean and the pool area was great also the entertainment around the pool was very good something for all ages and everyone was asked to join in all activities. night entertainment was not bad but not really my cup of tea .there is no beach really as its all rocks but most hotels sun loungers look out to sea which i found really nice
