Go bed and breakfast and eat out.
The hotel was incredible and everybody was so lovely! We hired a jeep and spent a few days at the Blue Lagoon (a defiant!)

lighthouse beach was only small and shingels, but we hired a car and toured around a lot, not far away was coral beach wich as beautiful i think the best beach in cyprus.plenty of cheap buses to take you there or to the harbour,wich was not far.

The area around the hotel was very clean, if you wanted to make your own entertainment (although you don't need to) you would need to walk about 20 mins from the hotel to find some bars and restaurants.
The beach at the end of the hotel was small and thin but if you walked 5 mins along it expanded, and had sunbeds. The sea was quite shallow and went on like that for miles, so quite safe for swimming, even for the little ones.
Cyprus is beautiful and I will definately go back again

Paphos has over the recent yers changed. It no longer is a resort for those who want a quite time. There is plenty to do for all age groups. The bars are always full and entertaining.The restaraunts serve very good food. Always see if it is full, if it is then worth eating in that place.

Paphos is lovely, there is something for everyone. it is so busy. There are restuarants catering for every taste.Everywhere is clean. The people are very friendly.

beach....what beach!!!
small shingle area with huge rocks under the water makes it almost impossible to get far enough out to swim. The sea is so rough there are breaker rocks around it but sit on them at your own peril!! If the water reaches you it pulls you in really quickly.
The resort is clean with a few bars about but you are better to hop on the bus and travel into the harbour area for bars and resturants for the evening and the water park is only a bus ride away.
For a fab beach, hop on the bus and go to Coral Bay.

The beach was rocky and not very nice, Also a little untidy. I didnt go in the sea as it didnt look very appealing but we did have a sea room which was fantastic.

The resort of paphos is ok, The shops are a bit tacky but normally get pressies on plane or in duty free shop, the beaches are rocky and not that good but doesn,t bother us. the people are friendly, its safe to walk anywhere and at any time, been 6 times never seen any trouble and we were there when the world cup was on. we are off again this year staying at the aquamare this time.

Queens Bay is 5 miles from Paphos and 4 miles from Coral bay.There is a bus service but really you need a car unles you intend to spend your holiday at the hotel.
The nearest proper beach is Coral bay.
Fairly quiet location not for the club 18,30 type.Ideal for couples 25 plus with a car.
Food and drink about the same price as U.K so if you can go all inclusive.
