Get a ground room floor as it will help as there are no lifts to the other floors so it can be a bit of a walk with a pram. Make sure on the strip you visit the Meze restaurant with the funny symbols in the name. It is one of the best Meze places in Protaras. Also Molti was a great restaurant to stay in.

Very nice resort with everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Lovely beach & plenty of restaurants. Also quite a number of bars which all serve the excellent local brew that is called Keo.

The resort had everything although it was just beginning to open after the winter break. The beaches were lovely.
We liked the area but did find it very expensive. Taking into account the exchange rate even taxis could work out pricey. Went on the trip through the Troodos mountains and to the Monastery - it was a great day! Didn't really stay out late at night so can't comment on the resort's entertainment.
Really, Really recommend "Woody's" nest door. Fantastic food and mega portions with a Sunday lunch to die for! They wern't doing breakfasts until later in the year as it was still a bit quiet but if the Shepherd's Pie is anything to go by it will be fantastic!!! Definately would go back to this resort and hotel even tho a little pricey.

We stayed just ousite Protaras at Pernia and we found this part quite disapointing with it just containing Blackpool type tacky souvenier shops and English named bars although we did find some nice beaches and coves. We also had two very good excursions booked through our First Choice rep.that we would highly recommend. The first was a trip on a Katermoran which sailed up the coast to the Turkish boarder where you could see the ghost town of Famagusta in the distance and then you sail back down the coast and anchor up in a bay were you are given the oppertunity to swim and snorkel in the med off two platforms at the rear of the boat. It has bar facilities and toilets on board.
The second was a sea walking exscursion which was truly fantastic. After being picked up by minibus from your hotel you are driven to a beautiful sheltered cove just outside protaras were you are ferried in a small motor boat a short distance to an anchored up katamoran diving platform. Here you are wet siuted and booted and given instructions before putting on a helmet connected to an air supply. you are then walked down a set of steps to the sea bed usualy in groups of 3 or 4 were you feed the fish and the instructor takes a video and stills of your undersea adventure lasting about 25/30 mins. This is all run by a very very friendly team of three and highly highly recommended.

Although it was only week two of the season it was still brill i went with my best mate and we were never bored for the lads every 2nd pub is showing all the games the beach is beautiful and the water is just amazing we attached ourselves to a livley pub called the greenery which has nightly karoke entertaiment the guy who owns it looks desperatly like Brian May with the hair but his name is Chrissos and by the end of week we had become regulars and seemed to know everyone as locals by names if you do visit the greenery tell Chrissos that the girl from england who hated the villa with a passion Caz +Cat should do it said hi and wheres my picture hell no you should get a free shot outa that! Boogies is the local niteclub open at the mo till about 4.30am and it is truly bangin but drinks are 3x the hotel prices went to napa which is next resort along a pace called Jasmines where they do tricks on like a monkey run on the ceiling and they set fire to the bar with petrol absol brill went to a few more places but everything statrs shuttin down at 1am cause of time of year. It costs bout £8 to napa dont be fooled into more taxis will try it on get one drivers card and although it may b a pain stick with them u then usually receive a discount try the water sports for real the lads from Stefanos water sports are so friendly u will spot them straight away cause thed put u in mind of a greek milli vanilli! whats more to say that i enjoed every second of my holiday prob cause drinks were so cheap (we) didnt get back to the hotel till somtimes 6.30 and thats for out of season!!! would def go bac with the kids next time bouncy castles INSIDE the pubs its just brill

Protaras was very clean .

Water sports were available. Nightlife was just beginning to liven up,we stayed in April.

The beach in Fig Tree bay was ideal for children also many cafes were on hand. Definitely worth another visit!!!

Very clean and well maintained.

Entertainment was well planned and good for families with small children, but teenagers may find things a bit quiet.

Beach standard good and kept clean used a lot by the guests for swimming.

Protaras is a bit like Blackpool but in a good way not run down but lots of bars and restarants just not very traditional depends what you want.

A bit disappointed in the beach outside our hotel Constantinos as it was full of rocks couldnt have a swim but the sand was lovely and you could have a nice walk along the beach and just dip your toes in instead.

I found Protaras very clean, with a beautiful beach, not a big beach but worth spend days there.plenty water sports if you fancy it.

There are a few nice cafes there also. There was entertainment on in some bars mostly Elvis inpersonators, there were a few!!

Also good selection restuarants to suit all, even a Mcdonalds!!

I most definately would return to Protaras, been to Coral Bay area and half way between Paphos and Coral Bay before but I would prefer to return to Protaras!!
