We couldn't fault anything about it. The hotel was spotless, staff brilliant couldn't do enough for you, waiters especially fantastic were Aziz,Waleed & Emad or Tom as he`d liked to be called they couldn't do enough for you (if our going say Big HELLO from Gill & Debbie) food was great couldn`t fault it.
The entertainment team were just astounding, Jamie, Lesley, Erin, Sarah & Helen, especially Jamie & Lesley you're amazing people.
We've only been back 12hours & weve looked into bookng this time next year!!!! Definatley worth going, you won`t be disappointed. Can't wait for 2007.

Pools:
Hotel pools are great, one very large pool with music and games etc (noiser out of the 2) and another quieter more chilled pool. Although there are signs up saying no reserving of sunbeds, it does happen, so we generally got out there by 8.30am and then went for breakfast after we had chosen our sunbeds. Absolutely no need to take your own towels - fresh beach/pool towels are issued every day. Pool bars at both pools offering drinks and ice cream (within certain times for ice cream).
Food:
The food was generally really good alhtough sometimes could be a little warmer. I am a really fussy eater and always had loads of things to choice from that I could have. Brilliant little pizza machine where you select you toppings and then it cooks along a moving oven and pops out the other end - genius! You have a visit to the italian once per week of your stay although drinks are no included here. It makes a noice change from the buffet and considering you pay for little else in the hotel, payong for a few drinks here is not that bad. Look out for 'Row Beef' on the menu...this is raw beef!
Drinks:
Local drinks were fine and they had all soft drink brands i.e. real pepsi etc! Cocktails were good too. Bottles of water available in main restaurant at lunch and dinner so stock up and sqeeze them into your minibar fridge.
Rooms:
We paid for the standard room - but got a fab room - got a kingsize instead with a great pool view. The room was huge. Air conditioning is great and sleeping would be awful without it.
Staff:
All really friendly and we never felt pressurised into giving tips within the hotel (out of the hotel is another thing!)
Excursions:
You must go on a snorkelling trip (Garden Reef was the one we went on as we didnt get visas at the airport). The coral on these trips is ten times better than the sea by the hotel. The fish are amazing and even saw a few 'Nemo' fish! Sunset cruise was also a lovely trip - chilled out and a great 3 course posh meal!
Visa:
There are a few trips that need a visa (from airport) -things like Cairo etc, but also one of the snorkelling trips (Ras Mohammed) and a trip we wanted to go on to see the Coloured Canyon. If you want to venture out on these, you need to pay for a visa at when you get to the Sharm airport - if not, dont wait in the queue, just ask the rep in the airport to put 'Sinai Only' on your slip. We wishe we had got a visa though as it is too much of a pain to take a trip to the airport to get one when you realise you want to go on a trip needing it!
Sickness:
We were ill a few times and spent approx

Staff are great with all the kids.
The entertainment team work so hard Leslie, Jamie, Helen, Sarah and Erin through out the day and night and put on some fantastic show throught out the week what people have got to remember that they are entertainers not west end.
The reps also work so hard as well working 11 hours a day people seem to think that they do nothing all day just sitting at a desk big it up to you leanne and jay
Overall a fab holiday !!!!

As this was our third visit we noticed the food had changed slightly, the Mermaid used to have a menu but now have set meals for lunch, a choice of two, or fresh pasta, I think this is better for the staff and guests as it is a lot easier and if you dont fancy anything in the Mermaid you can of course use the Dine around or the bbq. As usual the food was good and well presented, we tried the Italian this time and the food and service was brilliant, the wine was a bit expensive at

The only promlem about our holiday is the airport as you don't see a First Choice rep till you get outside, but once outside you are well informed of where to go and what to do.
You get to the hotel and the welcome you get is outstanding a drink as soon as you get through the door and the reception area is so easy and helpful, you don't even have to worry about your bags as they get taken to your room which is quite quick for the amount of people who turned up.
A meal was laid on straight away which was suprising as we arrived at 10pm.
We got to our room and the first thing that jumped out was the size and cleanliness. For the time I expected to spend in my room it was far to good for what I needed, it was cleaned every day and so were your towels.
The food in the resort was great the choice was amazing and so well presented.
You could not find more welcoming and helpful staff all around the resort from the reception to the shops and bar, everybody just wanted to help.
The gardens are very well maintained and pretty (not bad for the desert).
All the staff at the pools are great, the guys with the towels will take you to your loungers and if there's not one were you want it there soon would be and Mohamed behind the palms pool bar is the best he deserves more recognition. What a man!
The First Choice entertainment team Erin, Lesley, Jamie, Sarah and Helen were great they try so hard to keep you entertained all day and night and do a great job. Their shows are good and games are so much fun.
As I have said I have just got back after one week there and are already planing my next trip next year for two weeks.
If you want a nice, relaxing, fun, hot, holiday go to Coral sea resort. It's the best!

dont try taking advice from other travellers about tipping pool boy for your towels. it is a nice enterprising side line for no benefit. just get down early sit on your sunbed wait for them to start work about 0800 and then take your tokens to them for your sunbed towels. DONT PART WITH ANY QUEENS HEAD

it is not just the hotel that needs a few improvements its the quality of some the guests that do. those teenagers who thought it was funny to throw food on the floor and get the waiter to pick it up and did it again in front of him must be really charming children of such upstanding parents. and they wonder about brits on holiday and as for the person or persons responsible for the " floaters " on at least 3 days you really do need to get a grip of yourselves. when it takes the first choice rep to have to get onto the hotel tannoy system to tell people that the pool is not meant for " floaters " leaves you feeling kind of sick.
you know who you are those guilty and i really hope that your parents are really proud of you.
this is a good hotel with some great potential. this potential will hopefully come in time and as it appears to be part of the first choice group i sincerely hope that they get it sorted out as it is nice, very very clean and the food is not bad at all. we had a great holiday only marred by some of the appalling behaviour of some of the guests.
would we go again i ticked the yes box in the hope that first choice sort out some of the guests, the entertainment and one of two little tweeks here and there. not bad at all but room for improvement

We arrived at the hotel to be amazed by the the reception area as it was clean and looked more like a 5 star hotel never mind a 4.
As we arrived we were given a complimentary drink on behalf of all at the Coral Sea Resort. We checked in we were given our armbands to show that we were all inclusive. Our luggage was brought to our rooms by the staff that work at the hotel and arrived just 20mins later.
After a good nights sleep in the air conditioned room we woke up to 40 degree heat it was fabulous. Even though we slept in till after breakfast it was easy to get our sunbeds.
The pool area was spotless until someone did a poo in the main pool but we did venture to that pool as the smaller pool was much quieter and relaxing. They played a good range of music genre, but the same CD's were played repeatedly and it got a bit boring. But don't let that put you off they played songs such as love shak, bad day, breakaway, dntcha and more.
At breakfast they served pancakes with different toppings, different kinds of bread, tomatoes, white baked beans(which were horrid)sausage, beef bacon, eggs and doughnuts and fruit and much more. For the evening meal there was themed night such as Chinese Mexican seafood etc.
During the day there are many things to do such as kids football and even for the adults. There was also darts, pool, basketball, water polo
and splish slash for the kids (Joe Scott)
The entertainment during the day was excellent for the kids as they had lilo races but they were all in the main large pool.
If your one of the adventurous types there are excursions from the hotel such as quad biking (

The hotel is so welcoming and everyone smiles and are happy to see you. The room cleaners are excellent we had one called Mohamed jousef and he was fantastic he always took such pride in his work and went far beyond his call of duty and always smiled but he never expected atip.
The food was better than last year and my waist line can prove this. We both had a slight tummy problem but this is due to the heat and over indulging, we didn't drink enough water so it was our fault.
All hotel staff are fab. we didn't use entertainment but met so many lovely people we just laughed for the whole two weeks. We will and are definitely going back next June, before if possible.
Well done everyone at Coral Sea and thank you.

The room was massive it had a bath, shower, toilet, sink, big double wardrobes loads of storage space, a dressing table, mini bar, tv, table and chairs plus we also had 2 single beds for the kids the room was very spacious and I have never seen a balcony so big.
The room was cleaned daily, all the staff were amazing exspecially Ahmed from the lobby bar. We had no problems with the food there was plenty, there were many people with tummy bugs but as been said before not the food just the heat and not drinking enough.
I didnt think much of the First Choice reps or the entertainment team with the exception of Jamie he was brilliant with the kids. we went to the ampi-theatre onr night and never seen it empty as fast, there was a male belly dancer who was rubbish and a fenake so called belly dancer whom just wiggled her bust around, The down side th the theater is there is no proper bar only a few tables around the back and the drinks were warm.
There is football on in the irish bar but they are charging

Quick check in and the restaurant was keep open as we arrived at 10.45pm and it usually closes at 10pm. The food was really nice and catered for everyones needs. Our suitcases were taken to the room for us, which saved us having to carry them to and from the room.
The room were very clean and spacious, also they were cleaned every day. We were happy with the location as we did not want to be right in the heart of Naama Bay, you could use the shuttle buss to get there if you wanted to go. This only cost a pound each was.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool guys put your towels out for you each morning, they even remembered where every on sat.
