Location
The kids club is a little park with a pool and an inside room with playstations in it ,the ladys running it spoke little english not run by first choice , kids food is the same everyday (paste, rice chips, chicken drumsticks)
First Choice reps do run day time activities if they can be bothered (we wondered if they were on holiday too)they were a little more active the second week as the boss was back from his holiday).
The food was cooked well but the same most days
chicken and beef, fish(not sure what fish)just labelled fish ,prawns and duck once in two weeks. Just got boring after 2weeks.
The Italian a la carte was better ,the 1st Italian restaurant we have been in that has no garlic bread
you do have to pay fror your drinks in here a sneaky really

The room was a very good size with 2 single beds and 2 put up beds for the children. Bathroom was a nice size too, although the bath was small. This had a shower over it so didn't matter too much. Our room was cleaned every day to a high standard.
The hotel food was good with a large choice.kids corner was abit restricted in choice, but they could have anything from the adult section anyway.
The location was Ok, with a private beach on site. We didn't go into town at all because of the hassle that we had heard about from other families.(pushy shop owners).
The hotel staff were fantastic, all very helpful. They did however pay particular attention to our little boy and neglected our older daughter a bit, but we have found that in other places too.
The entertainment was a bit like a holiday camp entertainment and could be better, but we didn't go for that anyway.
I would highly recommend this hotel and we are already looking at booking up for next year !!!

I will not waste space regurgitating what I wrote in my review back in January as the same points still apply. This is an absolutely wonderful hotel and the staff cannot do enough to help you and seem genuinely interested in your welfare. A couple of them even remembered us from our previous holiday which staggered us considering the number of other guests they must have come across since then. This surely shows what a geniune interest they take in you.
What I most enjoy about the Red Sea Riviera, though, is the sheer variety of activities you can participate in. In addition to sunbathing and the fun and games which the First Choice entertainment team put on there are many other things to do. Excursions are available to the historic sights in Luxor and Cairo. There are also opportunities to go snorkelling and scuba diving in the Red Sea. If you don't feel up to this you can now also explore the Coral Reefs in the Red Sea on specially adapted tourist submarines. Gosh, how things have come on since my childhood when we could only go on boats with glass bottoms to do this sort of thing.
The only real point I would highlight is the temperature. Remember this is a desert country and can get extremely hot. When we were in the Sinai Peninsula at Christmas the temperature averaged about 26 degrees centigade and felt like it does in England during a decent spell in the Summer. Very nice indeed, especially considering how cold it was in England at that time of year. However, at Easter the heat had increased significanly. It was starting to push the mid thirties and on one day reached 37 degrees centigrade. Apparently during the summer temperatures are often well in excess of 40 degrees centigrade. Something to consider, especially if taking young children down to this region. It is often said that the best time to visit this region is between October and March and from my experience I would agree with this.
I cannot wait till next Christmas when we go back to the Coral Sea Resort.

Always got a sun bed and the staff at the towel and pool area very helpful.
Food was average, but lots of choice, we did have a funny tummy for 24 hrs but got some tablets from pharmacy which seemed to work.
There was not a lot to do in the hotel except, Diving or lazing around the pool, we had to walk into the sea from the shore as the jetty was closed for repair this meant you could not really go into the deeper water to see the fish. It was also very windy.
There are no tea/coffee facilities in the room and so we ordered a kettle and supplies, but this costs about

There are 2 restaurants one buffet style which caters for everything...its a case of try it and if its not for you get something else. The other restaurant is an Italian which you can book once a week. The food in there was brilliant.
The hotel is kept immaculately clean and our room was clean twice a day.
The hotel is located bout 15 mins from Naama bay but a bus cost

I found this hotel extremely difficult to fault.
Everywhere was spotless and I have never seen staff work so hard, especially in 30 degree heat. They would bend over backwards for you and don't expect to be tipped for it. We made loads of nice friends and met lots of interesting people.
Hotel was suitable for all ages and groups
A sunbed was always available and the choice between a lively or quieter pool area.
Food was very good, good choice, especially with me being a vegetarian, had a dodgy tummy for a couple of days, but I think that could have been the water - its easy to forget they add ice cubes and wash the salads in it. Snacks in the afternoon were fantastic - sandwiches and cakes.
Drinks weren't branded and my boyfriend and I mainly drank the lager and rum and coke, which were very nice. If you asked and made friends with the barmen they would produce a cocktail for you, we had some lovely, powerful combinations! - avoid the white wine and the vodka tastes like hair spray!
Beautiful grounds day and night, entertainment wasn't the best but us being a young couple went to the clubs in Naama Bay a couple of nights and had a good giggle in the Irish Bar late at night when it turned into a club!
Our room was huge and cleaned everyday with new towels and bed linen. Lovely balcony overlooking the pool areas.

The food was very poor - i suffered from an upset stomach from the second day.I lived on pizza and chips for the magoirty of the holiday as i couldnt face eating any of the food! Food choice was poor same things everyday and the presentation was equally poor - everything was just in metal tins and very little choice. It seemed like everythiing that was required to fufill the all inclusive role of providing you with food and drink was very mininal. Most of the day on the bars around the pool only one staff was on and they would give you the tinyiest cup of pop! Also, snacks throughout the day - the man would only give you two tiny bits up pizza.
The pool areas were fantastic though we usually sat around the cold pool - it was bigger and never seemed to get overcrowded. Another plus was that the hotel is literally on the beach which i lovely. The gardens and surrouding areas of the hotel were kept in mint condition and were nice to have a wander through.
The location of the hotel - well your in the middle of the desert! It is a good thirty min bus ride from Naama Bay which the hotel provided a free bus. We went on two excursions with first chice - the bedouin experience wehere you get to ride a camel and meet these folk that have lived inthe mountains for years which was ok but boring at times. We also went on a boat trip snorkling over the corals which was excellent and well reccommended!
Entertainment - well we sampled it for one night and left hald way through- we are a cyoung couple and werent looking for anything elaborate to do just somewhere nice in the hotel to have a drink and listen to some music - but even the older folk were bored..
On a whole.. we had a lovely relaxing holiday but the food and lack of things to do on a night was a big let down.
