The entertainment team were great, they made our holiday. they do a great job but they don't always get credit for it,

The food was hot but a bit repetitive and bland but we always found something to eat.
There was nothing outside the hotel apart from them building more rooms(you didn't hear anything)You could catch a taxi or the shuttle bus tickets obtained from reception.
The beach was nice. Water shallow with plenty of fish they have a floating jetty which you can snorkel/dive from, water approx 30ft at the end the coral and fish were amazing. They have a man on hand to help with any queries if you walk along the beach you will find some shops the Mares shops sell snorkels and masks (good quality)approx

We arrived at the hotel and the cases were taken of the bus by the porters and we were taken to our room by buggy. Our room was great, linen was changed every day and the room was also cleaned we had a sea view and the beach was 100yds away what more could you want.
This is the first time we had gone All Inclusive and we were not disappointed.
The location of the hotel was ten minutes from the airport and the staff we could not faulted at all from the cleaners up to the manager so helpful and friendly, every night was entertainment you could join in or just relax

I couldn't believe how many of the staff remembered us from last year, they even remembered our names.
The hotel itself was spotless as usual and our rooms were plenty big enough with a king size bed & cleaned on a daily basis. The room cleaner often left towels on our bed in the shape of a swan.
Every single member of staff would greet you with a smile right from the cleaners up to the general manager.
I had the good fortune to meet Mr Salama (General Manager) who took time out of his day to ask me how my holiday was going. He made us feel so welcome.
The food was excellent with plenty of variety which I feel catered for everyones tastes.
Our transfers took about 15 minutes from the airport which is good so you don't have to sit on a coach for hours.
The entertainment got better about halfway through our holiday when the animation team were changed. The new team were a lot better but I am disappointed that we didn't have them from the start of out holiday.
All of the staff in the hotel, by the pool & on the beach were first class & made our whole holiday experience a great one.
The one bad point I would mention is that the all inclusive bar stops at 11pm - maybe this could be extended slightly. Other than that - we loved it so much that we have booked to go back in September for 1 week & we intend to go back for another 3 weeks in May 2007.
I would also like to mention Islam the cashier who made our holiday so special & we look forward to going back in September.

The hotel was always clean and tidy and welcoming. Everywhere you looked at some time in the day there would be someone tidying up the fallen leaves outside, brushing up around the pool area or emptying the bins. You can not fault the staff that work at the conrad they are excellent!
The food was always hot and there was plenty of choice. Each night had a theme and i found that there was always something to eat for everyone. There was also snacks throughout the day at the pool bar and free drinks at any of the bars (this was beacsue we went all inclusive!)
The hotel staff were brilliant, if you needed anything at all they would do it for you to the highest standard and in the quickest time possible. We didnt have any problems so didnt really need to depend on them that much.
Well, the entertainment staff were a bunch of lunatics! They were always laughing and joking, always smiling and always trying to get you up for a game of beach volley! They worked really hard to make sure that the night had plenty of entertainment with quizzes, discos, bingo, karaoke and even belly dancing competitions (jimmy and islam I love you for that!)
I am thinking about coming back to the conrad even though I am only 15! I would like to come back with my family then maybe in a couple of years with some friends! Im missing the place already and the weather back home is rubbish! We had one day at 38 degrees and I got burnt but it was all good fun!
Thanks to everyone at the conrad for making us feel welcome and I hope to see you all again soon xx

This was the most amazing holiday I have ever been on. We went in a group of 6, my partner and I, my Mother and Step-Father and my brother and his mate. Everyone had the most amazing time and we have not stopped recommending this hotel to our friends since returning to the UK.
Everything about the holiday was out of this world but I will give you a brief run down:
STAFF:
The staff were amazing; they simply cannot do enough for you. The rooms were spotlessly clean everyday, as was the rest of the hotel, the bar and restaurant staff were friendly and attentive and even the gardeners and bell boys went out of their way to say

The Conrad is on a spectacular beach and the sea is beautiful - snorkel from the beach out to the reef (not from the jetty) and you will suddenly come to a big drop where all the corals are - it is amazing!
The rooms are really spacious and there is sky tv with the movie channel, CNN etc. The hotel itself is gorgeous with a lovely reception/lobby. We had a room with a sea view and it did not disappoint!
Entertainment - hhmmm, could have been better, but there were karaoke nights/quiz nights etc and the animation team definitely catered for families/kids.
We preferred it on the beach as it got noisy round the pool, but each to their own.
The only let-down was the food really - was ok but it does get repetitive. The deserts look great but they are all a bit dry (unless you choose the ones with cream in!). Having said that there was always something I liked - I just wouldn't call it 5 star, but it was ok.
Went to Na'arm bay - didn't really like it - I'm still a Turkey/Italy/Greece lover (probably because they are a lot greener!).
All in all a good hotel in a great position. Would go back for some winter sun, but seeing as we're a young couple would probably book an adults-only hotel (didn't like getting dive-bomb splashed at the edge of the pool!)

I would say the hotel is 5 star during the day, the facilities are first class.
We stayed around the infinity pool all day, which is fabulous. At lunch we went to the Italian overlooking the sea or occasionally to the beach bar.
March is the ideal time to visit the sun is really hot for the time of the year, I wouldn't like to be there in July/August as the heat would be unbearable.
The staff are the most helpful and friendly people I have experienced, yes you don't have to tip to get 1st class service, but if you do they go out of there way to help you.
We tipped in the bar after ordering two red wines, the waiter constantly monitored our glasses and without asking would bring us two more when our glasses were nearly empty, in the end we had to pre warn him we wanted a change of drink next time, all good fun !!
You could never describe the food as repetitive, there was plenty of choice for everybody.
The food was hot and tasty, though it was noticed they had taken chicken/poultry of the menu.
The all inclusive worked well and operated until 11.00 pm,which was long enough after a tiring day.
There are a lot of Russians there which wasn't a problem, they are not unfriendly the only barrier being the language, at least they don't reserve sunbeds like some of our other European neighbours.
Another point with the sunbeds is there are more than enough to go round, you don't have to sling a towel over them to reserve.
My only whinge which was shared by others was there is little to do at night as you are confined to the hotel unless you wish to use the hotel shuttle bus to naama bay.
The entertainment is a bit "holiday camp stuff"and takes place in the dining room, the other bar is upstairs and runs into reception, there is a piano there but no piano player.
These arn't negative comments some people may like this, we however prefer to walk out for a couple of hours to local bars and watch the world go by,you can't do this at any of the hotels in Sharm, only at Naama bay, which is a out of this world experience.
All in all we had one of our best holidays ever and the Concorde hotel is one of the best around, we shall return next March.

Food was excellent better than expected.
Hotel location ok not much about, but suited us. We went to Naama bay last year to much hassle.
Hotel staff were some of the best we have come across.
Hotel entertainment was more suited to European tastes, as more English visitors are going to this hotel. More English orientated entertainment would greatly increase potential English visitor numbers. This did not put us off as we would definitely return to this hotel!!!

The grounds of the hotel were immaculate and always clean and tidy set on two levels with plenty of disabled access, we saw a lady there that was in a wheel chair so I assume the facilities extend further then just ramps.
The beach is absolutely gorgeous! We did several boat trips and the best snorkeling was definitely just off the jetty from the hotel. We even walked up and tried out the other two jetty's along that stretch of beach but the Conrad was definitely the best. I would definitely recommend the dive school situated on the beach there (Sinai divers) and the hut that sells trips, save yourself some money here!
We found all the staff to be very pleasant and always happy and friendly. We didn't tip until the end of our holiday and felt in no way that we would of been treated any differently if we had done this at the beginning.
The food was a lot better then I had expected, there was always plenty of choice of hot or cold food that tasted very nice. We never went hungry and always left satisfied. At meal times take the bottles of water away with you as you only get glasses of water at the beach & pool bar although the bar men will refill your bottles for you. The drinks are also good, if they are too strong or weak just let them know and they will change it for you. I mostly drank the Roney Fizz from the cocktail menu but you could also have a Bekham, Nevil...see where I'm going here... ;-) my Roney Fizz was in fact just a gin and bitter lemon but it suite me. My boyf enjoyed the beer which was served in large glasses.
I would say the location is excellent if only for the beach! It is a good 20 minute drive to Naama Bay which will cost about
