Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Namma Bay ,
It had everything for everyone. we enjoyed the quiet restuarants on the front while our daughter could go off to any of the discos or bars, and never had any problems.
if you like shopping ther was everything form the "bag shops "to some lovely craft shops and plenty of them.
Felt very safe and was supprised you didnt get hassled everywere you went.
Beach front, promenade, was very nice to walk down and very clean. Plenty of hotels on the front if you wanted to go in for other entertainment.

Sharm el Shiekh is outstanding, when I first Booked the holiday I was wary of going there but I have returned many at time now with no regrets. You never run out of things to do, and are constantly being looked after, The service in the shops and restraunts on naama bay are fantasic.

The resort was great I would recommend this holiday to anyone. A group of women could go out at night and feel completely safe. You do get a little pestered but this is common in most places. They love cockney rhyming slang.
We are definetely going back again.

The resort has something for everybody from childrens fairground to Pacha disco and outdoor go-karts.
It's a wonderful resort with temps in the 100 degrees it was sunshine from 5.30am till 7 pm if your a sun lover it's utopia.
Local shop workers can be a little annoying as they pester you to visit their shops and they all quote Asda price and lovely jubbly but generally they all except a firm no thank you.
We over paid taxis at first but soon learned that two pounds English was the correct price and not three pounds for our one way trip into Naama bay.
The scubba diving is fantastic anywhere in Sharm.
We will be back hopefully later in the year when it cools down.

Sharm El Sheikh resort I would rate average, compared to many other beach holiday destinations. That is because the area is still developing and there are many building sites. I'm sure in the future it would be 'a perfect place to visit, definitely!' - but not quite yet!

Naama Bay is really lively (the beach through the day and the promenade and shopping area at night)The beach is clean and sandy with small reefs in shallow water which makes snorkelling very enjoyable. In the evening it can be a bit wearing being hassled to come into restaurants or shops all the time. We found that the worst thing to do was to totally ignore them as this seemed to genuinely offend their naturally friendly and chatty personalities and the best way to deal with it was to ackowledge them and tell them that we were either going to eat or we had just eaten (depending on whether it was shop or restaurant !)Our 13 year old daughter got loads of unwanted attention from the Egyptian men, which upset her at first but once she realized that was just their way she laughed it off. Beware of the newspaper sellers on the promenade in the mornings (I ended up paying £3.50 for a paper 2 days out of date) Quad biking in the desert was brilliant (cover your face with a scarf and wear glasses as protection from the dust), and the trip to Ras Mohammed National Park was great too. I would definitely go back.

We stayed in the Shark Bay area but I am including Naama Bay also as it was only 10 mins away. The roads around the area look out on barren land which has rubbish on it sometimes, but the actual resort areas are very clean. The beaches were 'combed' every night to get rid of rubbish like cigarettes which people drop, so they were very clean. The beaches were nice sand - some places difficult to get into the sea without stepping on coral (don't do it!), so best to wait until the tide comes in a bit or go along to one of the man made jetties. Entertainment low key in Sharks Bay - fab in Naama.

Everywhere we went in the resort was clean and tidy, from reception, pools, restaurant to beach terraces.
Although the beach was small and not text book golden sand, it was clean and led to the wonderful coral.

Stayed in hotel mostly with the odd sortie into Namaa Bay with was quite a place. Having been to Egypt a couple of times was used to hassle and bartering. Loads of different restaurants and very cheap to eat. Great place.
