Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Na'ama Bay - not at all what we expected! The "Old town" is approx 22 years old whereas Na'ama bay is up to 12 years old. As such, you'd expect everything to be done "in the bet possible taste" whereas it is largely a breeze-block jungle with neon palm trees etc. The actual promenade by the beachside is more the sylish walkway you'd expect. That said, it's all part of the experience & quite OK. Highly recommend the Indian resaurant in the Camel - first class plus just next to it a good Chinese (up some steps). Japanese ("Kai Ko" or similar) on the promenade was also good food, although you need to eat dessert before 10.30 as the chef goes home & you've kissed goodbye to banana or pineapple fritter! Loads of tacky junk for sale - but plenty of people buying it!
Would we go back to Sharm? Certainly would!

Clean, pleasant, friendly and really great places to eat out.
Next time though I shall develop a stronger resistance to those charming shopkeepers who almost physically drag you into their shops for a couple of hours haggling and a cup of hibiscus tea. I shall never wear all those t-shirts and kaftans, and as for the belly dancing outfit, well the less said about that the better.
I must go now and have a puff or two on one of my 4 hookah pipes!

The resort is a little remote perhaps for some people who may prefer a livelier place to stay.
The beach was very good but the jetty from the hotel was quite uneven and not in a very good state of repair in parts. Also I required urgent medical attention due to severe laceration on some coral and would have appreciated someone on duty to help as it was a very long way back to the hotel clinic!
We will be visiting this resort again

Enjoyed our stay in Naama Bay.
A clean resort. Not the best of beaches but okay. A pleasant walk along the prom in the evening.
Some shopkeepers try to get you to buy from their shops but we found them to be friendly and pleasant if we refused.
Not a resort for singles but excellent for couples and families.

It is very clean, Narma bay which is the nearest main resort is about 20mins away by bus is very busy and noisey which you would expect from a tourist resort, the beaches are man made and they are like a mixure of sand and gravel.

Sharm could be descibed as Dubai meets the Costa Del Sol. Great winter/spring sun, loads of tacky shops (great bags etc)and top notch service. There is something for everyone, I can't recommend the place more highly.
The only down side is the constant hassle from shop keepers trying to get you into their shops. We tended to buy from the ones who were least annoying. My boyfriend bought a very soft leather jacket from Zena Leather, just up from Seagulls Bar for £120 and got a 'Gucci' bag thrown in for me! You have to haggle to get a good price. Offer about half what they orginally ask and work up from there. We feel we got some great deals, although my boyfriend's sure he would have done better without me feeling sorry for them.
Denameer (near the Movernpick) is a great fish restaurant, you literally get a mountain of prawns, crab, calameri and fish for £10. There are restaurants to suit every taste. The usual Hard Rock, Pizza etc sitting alongside more local cuisine.
We tried the casino and lost.
Recommend the Beduion Feast and evening camel ride. As we didn't try any snorkling or diving we did the glass bottomed boat which is well worth £5!
Will go back!!!!

Location was fine as we wanted peace and quiet with option of short ride (10 mins) to nama bay etc if desired. Beach area 5 mins walk away with excellent snorkelling.
Fantasia, a sort of theme park 10 min walk away. Old Sharm 30 min walk. Walking in the day time? Its very hot.
