Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

The main resort area is Na'ama Bay where all the 'action' is.
There are loads of shops, restaurants and 'Shisha' bars (very colourful and full of locals). But, not that many real bars, only the Hard Rock Cafe (very expensive), the roof top Camel Dive Club bar (very busy) and a few others. There are two "clubs", Pacha and Bus Stop on the main street. There are more bars on the beach front prom, but these close around 12 midnight as they are near to/ belong to the larger hotels. One or two have local entertainment.
The resort is clean and tidy, and served by loads of cheap taxis, Never saw any trouble, and we felt very "safe" in general.

We found the resort to be fairly clean, most of the entertainment was water based, either snorkelling or diving and a glass bottom boat. But that is what you would expect from a Red Sea resort.
There was only a handful of shops behind the Conrad hotel.
Taxi service to Na'ma bay can be expensive if you don't barter before you get in them (there driving also leaves a lot to be desirde).
All in all we had a good time and would use the resort again.

Naama Bay is lit up like blackpool with a more exotic feel. You have many seafood options along the promenade, should you wish to risk it!
There are Sheesa Pipe bars everywhere! Lots of Pubs and bars and the nightclub Pacha and shops selling everything from 'designer labels', leather, jewellery, souveniers, beachwear, holiday wear. There is even a KFC, Pizza Hut and McDonalds, £1.68 for a big mac meal if you really want to eat that on your hols!
The Egyptian men will try all they can to get you into their shops - a firm no and a smile and keep walking does they trick if you are not interested. We got caught once and then wised up a little! Its all really good fun though. lots of taxi touts trying to get you into a taxi at the end of the night.
Lots of banks to change cash and even a couple of HSBC.

The centre of Naama Bay is quite small. Not a lot to do there really. Nothing more to add unfortuantely. I can't understand how some people rave about it! One taxi driver (and his sidekick) tried to coax more momey out of us after agreeing the price before us getting in. In the end I just had to give him a stern 'Not on your nelly, Mate!" and promptly got out.

The hotel itself was the resort in this case, so please read my other comments, the town of Sharm el sheik was a crazy place, we drove through there once on the way to Naam bay. It looked a little rough.

Not much in Sharks Bay. You have the Hilton right next door to you on one side and the Maxime Plaza on the other side of you. There are no bars or restaurants nearby and you cannot buy alcohol anywhere.
Naama Bay is not too far, about 15 minutes in a cab or bus. NB is very lively which loads of bars and restaurants and lots of shops.

The only bad thing we could say about the resort in was the trip to the pyramids, the museum in cairo was superb but the pyramids had been vandalised and it was like walking through an ashtray , the tourism police were the culprits for this as you hardly ever saw them without a cig in their mouths other than when they were asking you for money to take photographs.

The resort was very good if you liked shopping plenty shops and bazzars resturants and bars.

We found the resort to be very clean. There were men about all the time cleaning or gardening. The resort is a very large complex and there was a train that took you around the perimeter.
There was lots of thing to do during the day, but we tended to forget what was on. A list in the room perhaps would have been an idea. My husband and I don't swim, so we were not affected by the lack of a good beach and sea. The coral does make it a little difficult to swim and the tide goes out quite a distance. But we were told the waters were magnificent for snorkeling. As you walk in the sea the fish swim around your feet which was magical.
If you want a holiday that is relaxing and lazy this is the place to go. The friendliness, the warmth and overall appearance will stay memorable for some time to come,

Although there is nothing but a couple of shops directly outside of the hotel you could get a taxi (about £4.00) into Naama Bay where there are plenty of shops etc. However as we were on a chill-out holiday we only ventured there once to watch the Man United match in an English pub!
Trips - there are guys that come around the pool offering trips, and they are very good. The sunrise quad bike trip is brilliant, and girls don't share a bike, drive your own, I did and was worried at first and but then I was speeding along with the rest after a short while. They are very safe.
Swimming - you cannot walk into the sea to swim as there is a reef just off the beach, but there are floating jetties where you can get into the water, but it is very deep. Being nervous swimmers we took the easy option to see the fish and went on the glass bottom boat and were thrilled to have a family of dolphin swim alongside of us -the highlight of our holiday!
