Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

The town of Sharm el Sheikh was about 15 minutes away by bus. It was totally geared for the tourists and there was none of the authentic Egypt.
We were very relieved to find that we were situated out of Sharm el Sheikh which we found extremely tacky and a cross between Las Vegas and Blackpool.

The resort came alive in the evenings with hundreds of people of all ages eating and drinking and generally meandering about. There are hundreds of restaurants to eat in, all very reasonably priced.
The beach was a real disappointment. It is separated into different sections and you can only go on the beach dedicated to your hotel. The part of the beach that was allocated to our hotel was very small and was packed with people, due to this we only visited it once in our 2 week holiday. There is reef very close to the beach though and there are many fish, so you don't have to go far to see tropical fish.
You can arrange to go on many excursions at the beach front and there are quite a few dive schools here too.
The only thing that put us off the resort was the people constantly trying to get us to buy something or visitng their restaurant. They were in no way aggressive but they were persistant!
We recommend visitng 'Old Sharm' for presents as this is much cheaper than in Na'am bay. There are no restaurants here and feels more authentic.
We would visit this resort again for a touch of winter sun and a lot of rest and relaxation but only for a week as we did not feel there was enough to do for 2 weeks.

Sharm el Sheikh is a surreal place created for holiday makers in the desert and by the sea. It is an ideal spot for scuba divers and snorkellers (even beginners).
It is a long way to most of the historical sites that you would expect to see in Egypt but if you want a relaxing beach holiday with some Egyptian charm, this is the place to go.
The resort is clean and well served by restaurants, bars and shops. The beaches are spotless and great care is taken to protect the coral reefs which are worth a snorkel over. I would definitely go back.

Very nice resort although built for tourism and not much els. Shops very repetative and the men are a bit in your face but just laugh with them or ignore them, they are harmless really.
Many camels are offered for wives, my husband achieved 10 ferraris one night as he said that he had no use for camels!! (Nice one)
Loads of restaurants, bars and clubs - plenty to do really, taxis are all over the place, the blue and white Peugeots Bedouin taxis are an experience.
Whilst we were in Sharm there were a couple of bomb attacks up in Taba, this didn't spoil our holiday but I must admit the security was stepped up big time, which made you feel a little uneasy but atleast you felt safe.
I would certainly visit again.
The weather is fantastic and it's only 5 hours away.
Airport and resort not very good on duty free, booze quite expensive and not a wide range of cigarettes.
Have a walk down by the beach on an evening and call into a couple of the bars for a cocktail, nice relaxing atmosphere.

The resort itself is fine. Diving and snorkelling is excellent and food and drink are of good quality and very cheap in the town of Naama Bay.

The beach was more of a sunbathing area as unless you were a good swimmer you couldn't go into the sea as the coral came right up to the shore and you could only walk out over the coral on a jetty which could become very slippy and once over the coral the sea was quite deep.
However the water was very clear and you could see the fish without even snorkelling

Naama Bay is VERY touristy. The street sellers become very draining. A walk along the sea front turns into a quick stroll in silence, if you give away your nationality you get a constant stream of 'cheap as chips, lovely jubbly, micheal owen and cheaper than asda' comments. The coral at the beach front is getting a right old battering from the holiday makers who know no better than to stand on it. Beware of the men at the airport offering to carry your suitcase to the coach, they are all after tip's and will even tell you they are staff to get you to let them take your case. There are alot of hotels either side of the dual carriage way but be warned, some of these hotels are no where near the town or the beach. The only hotels I would stay at are: Hilton Fayrouz, Novotel, Marriot, Sonesta Beach, Others are either wrong side of the road, too far from town or right in the middle of town. I loved the scuba diving in Egypt but probably won't be going back to Naama Bay. Too many people.

A fansastic holiday destination. The weather is wonderful and Naama bay is very colourful and lively. The locals are friendly enough but a little pushy, a firm No usually works.I would recommend this place to anyone.

Shark's Bay is a very small resort and only has a few all inclusive hotels. Because of this all the entertainment is confined to the hotels, you will not find anything else in the resort.
However the area is kept very clean and well maintained.
The beach is primarily used for diving and snorkelling but there are still enough sun beds to go around if you fancy sunbathing, although we found it very hot down at the beach.
The resort is also only ten minutes from the airport but amazingly you never hear any aircraft noise.
