Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Although the hotel was in a quite location the free shuttle bus and infinite cheap taxis gave you access to everything that was going. Naami bay itself catered for any needs, boasting its own Hard rock cafe, macdonalds, pitza hut, kentucky fried along with all its homegrown places. The bungy ball and go kart centre wasn't for the faint hearted. Plenty of casinos if you wanted a flutter. Dahab isn't that far away either, which proved a lot cheaper for your souvenirs.

The resort was horrible too with hundreds of taxis belching smoke and fumes out and hassle off shopkeepers to get some to buy some junk.
Only reprive was excellent food and unbelieveble cheap prices in the Hard Rock Cafe. Oh, and the brilliant fish so close to the beach.
PS. DON'T go to Egypt in August!

Went in August. It was very quiet. A lovely place to go to if you do not want tons of kids around.
It was very hot, but a dry heat, no humidity.
My only criticism was that because there were not many children about, my daughter got a bit bored during the day and I tended to be in the pool a lot more than usual.
Would definitely recommend resort and hotel.
Naama Bay is full of every type of restaurant you can imagine. Indian, Chinese, Bedouin, Macdonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Hard Rock Cafe. Great to have a wander about in the evening.
Tip:
In Naama Bay they have the Hard Rock Cafe. Could not believe the prices. We had a 3 course meal for about £12. Great value for money.
You do not have to go half board because it is so cheap to eat out.

The resort was very clean, but with so many people to do so few jobs that was to be expected!
It was very lively in the centre & you could spend hours just people watching!!
Everything was done very leisurely,& there was no possibility of being rushed to leave anywhere!(a nice change)
Everybody should try a shisha(hubbly bubbly)!!
The beaches were kept to a very high standard, always being cleaned. And you could book just about anything from your sunlounger! You also didn"t even have to move to get a drink!!!

Nama bay was about a 10 minute taxi ride away. Lots of bars, shops etc... Lots of men trying to sell you things and get you into the shops. Just a smile and no thanks and they left you alone. Beware of the lager! We had a dodgy one that didn't even taste like lager!!! Nice beach though.

Na'am Bay is excellent, many shops, once you get over being constantly asked into shops using an assertive La a (NO), you could stroll around peacefully. We had many good evenings in Na'am, the resort is clean offering a wide choice of eating places and many bars where you can just relax and watch the world go buy.

We found Sharm to be a bustling and active town. The only downside was the attention our teenage daughter got from the local men, it could get a bit much!! All shopkeepers very trusting and friendly. We didn't go to any bars/nightclubs so can't report on that. We would definitely go back to Sharm again.

Sharm its self is full of greasy men shouting as soon as they see a pretty girl insight, only visited it once never again.
The beach was a few shells you couldn't walk on and a jettee. The area at the end of jettee though was excellent for scuba diving with some excellent coral and beatiful fish.
Eygpt is famous for diving and is the best thing it has going for it.

The resort is amazing there is a variety of things to do for all the family, couples who wish not to be around familys and singles. There are many day trips to take and of course amazing snorkling and diving and also quad bikes in the desert (this is amazing). In the evenings all types of entertainment is avaliable from nightclubs to desert safari, bedouin shisha bars and restaurants.
One of the most amazing things about this holiday is the Egyptian people and the lengths that they will go to to make your holiday as special as possible.

A great place to be, sandy beaches, warm sea and hot sun.
Plenty to do and see if you wish.
Egyptians are very friendly people. Ok they try and stop you to buy things or look in their shop, but if you told them no they just let you go.
Snorkelling here at Ras Um Sid was the best I have ever done.
Scuba diving was the main reason we visited Sharm and it didn't disappoint.
Would definately return.
