Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.
Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

Naama Bay itself is a little tacky, but fun at the same time. It is quite a family centred resort with plenty of restaurants, and hasn't got the usual lout culture just yet! Eating out is cheap, but drinks can be expensive - especially wine. We found the locals to be friendly. We enjoyed a few drinks at the Camel Bar Rooftop Bar. We didn't spend anytime on the beach as we used the one at the Hyatt Regency.

The hotel is situated too far out of the way for most people although there is a shuttle bus to Naama bay it is limited and has to be booked well in advance.
entertainment is a bit naff and if you stay for 2 weeks it's even worse second time around.
If you want a sunbed by the pool you need to be up around 6 am to be in with a chance, the beach is not quite so bad but the beach itself is very small.
Although I would go to Sharm again in a heartbeat I would choose a different hotel.

The resort was good, naama bay had a good selection of bars and restaurants and a shopping mall. we managed to get a taxi back to the hotel for 30le (£3), we just said no thanks and walked off if they wanted more! which seemed to work well.
we took a day road trip to cairo with longwood (being 25 we coped with the early start/late finish/crazy driving)which was fantastic, it was £100 and incl lunch and a fab guide! even went on a feluca on the nile!

Sharm El Sheik was just like a building site in most places. It is right by the mountains and has a wonderfull view.
Naam'a Bay was the closest main town to us. It had loads of shops which were just the same each one. There was Hard Rock Cafe, McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut which where also cheaper than England.
There was lots of different bars and was alot of fun to visit.

The hotel and resort were spotless.
The entertainment was rubbish(even for a trapped public)all in Italian and the beach was more like a building site.
All I can say is that it may have been a 5 star resort once but not anymore (2star maybe)

A difficult resort to review as Sharm El Sheikh is not really a resort as such. Visit the close by Naema (or sometimes Na'ama/Naama) Bay if you are seeking the true resort vibe. Many local stores and restaurants to experience. If you do go there, be prepared for the hard sell from locals. You WILL be hassled by locals and if you take it in your stride and are firm and polite you could actually enjoy it as an experience in itself. Just say no to all the offers and move on. Of note: visit Na'ama Bay during the evening or night around the main district. There is a larger police presence and you will not have any hassling from the locals. Na'ama becomes a different place at night and has a style of its own that should be experienced. There are night clubs but only a few and the resort has a very calm atmosphere.
Entertainment ranges from expensive 5 start casinos to local restaurants. A few nightclubs (Bus Stop being the largest and most trendy) and some good shops.
The beach around the bay is divided up by the big hotels so it is quite difficult to find a spot that isnt closed off. The Ritz had its own private beach and coves and were superb for what I wanted.
Would I visit again? Yes, in a few months as it happens.

Nice resort with Naama Bay within easy reach using shuttle bus service. Plenty to do and for the adventerous consider the Night Walk up Mount Sinai, but would not reccomend this if you are not very fit as is very tiring. Esopecially on the way down. However, one to remember. Also the Bedouin night. great food and entertainment. Drink as much as you like!

The closest resort was Naama Bay (just 15 minutes in a taxi)and had plenty of bars and restaurants to suit everyone. I have to say I don't think that I would like to stay in a central hotel as the night life goes on into the small hours. If you must visit them, there are McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut for the fussy eaters among us!
Must recommed a visit to the Camel Bar, located above the Camel Dive Club on the main street, chill out with fantasic beer, music and company - and don't leave without trying the famous shisha pipe.
