Lindos is very clean considering the amount of visiters it gets each day, the entertainment is mostly bars and a few nightclubs we find it just right, have never seen any aggro, in all the years we have been going there.
We will be going to Lindos again this year 08.

Lindos is a beautiful ancient village/town. Both beaches in the resort are beautiful and peaceful with white sands and blue clear water.
The winding cobbled streets in the village are lovely, although I could still get lost quite easily, its one huge maze! The restaurants were lovely- would recommend Med East on the hill just near the main square-has a chilled out atmosphere, great food and gorgeous views.
What I liked most about the bars/restaurants is that they don't have people outside pestering you for your businrss so you free to choose where you want to go which makes a refreshing change
Would recommend Ikon bar in the village, staff are really friendly and you get complimentary fruit with your drinks, there's also an indie bar nearish to Ikon called Four something or other, unfortunately we were to drunk to remeber the full name of the bar but we loved it!
Have definitly fallen for Lindos and hope to be back soon!

Lindos is the most picture perfect place we have visited. The beach at st Pauls bay is just stunning and great for snorkeling, The chapel is just beautiful and was perfect for our wedding. Lindos beach is great for kids as the sea is easy to get in and out of and the water is so calm. There are lots of places to get something to eat and drink. It's a bit of a treck getting to the beaches in lindos but it is well worth the effort. The whole of lindos is kept very clean when you consider the amount of tourists arriving every day and the donkeys going up and down to the acropolis. The bars and resturants are plentyful we ate at quite a few of the resturants, most have roof top terraces and all have great views over lindos to the acropolis. We had great meals where ever we ate and the local dishes are a must. The Lindian house bar was our favourite not only because we had our wedding reception there but because Dee and her Husband and staff were excellent each time we went in they took time to chat and make us feel welcome. Thier bar is truley amazing, go and take a look. This was our first time to lindos but will by no way be the last we can't wait to go back and are booking again for next year.

Lindos really is as beautiful as they say in the brochures so im not going to harp on about it! Its best seen at night in my opinion, not only because its cooler but it just takes on a magical charm, I love it there!

Lindos and the surrounding area includes a lot of interesting places to visit areas i would recommend include:-
PRASSONISI a dramatic spit of sand runs out to sea with the Aegean on one side and Mediterranean on the other. Astonishing views from a distance but the beach itself is grubby and dirty.
Butterfly Valley near PETALOUDES The 60-minute walk through the valley is pleasant enough with small pools and wooden bridges but visitors should wear decent walking shoes.
Rhodes old town is an intresting visit travel by local bus from lindos it takes about an hour and is worth the visit but watch out for holiday club touts beside the bus station A good place to start is Symi Square . Now to lindos the paths from beach to village are steep, as is most of the town, and it can be a heavy slog home after a hard day sunbathing. This beautiful place is so packed you must queue just to pass along the narrow, pebble-paved, streets. Tourist shops and bars hem in the crowds although i feel this can add to the atmosphere. The main attraction is the ancient acropolis enclosed by the walls of a Crusader fortress which is impressive but the walk of 300 steps will test your fortiude. Lindos is noted for its rooftop restaurants which can be found all over the town i cannot comment on qualith becuse we were spoiled at our hotel with excellent food. it also hosts weddings at nearby St Pauls bay.
ATMS there are 3 one at the top of the hill opposite the tourist bus stop if you use this this one the sun shines directley onto the screen and makes it difficult to read one beside the donkey taxi as you enter lindos and one at the tour agent opposite the church

Lindos is beautiful, very peaceful and lovely. We were there early in the season so it was quite quiet. Places I would recommend to eat are Acropolis (restaurant owned by the owners of the Lambis) – this was the best meal we had, Kalypso and Alex’s. We didn’t rate odesseya much. Ambrosia looked lovely but we didn’t have a chance to eat in there. We drank cocktails at Yannis Bar and the staff there were lovely – there were two in particular Thaso and Leonedas who pretended to be Spartans for us when we found out Leonedas’ name (from the 300). However the cocktails are quite expensive. We also had cocktails at Bizantyne which were cheaper than Yannis and just as nice.
The acropolis is amazing. We walked up and it really wasn’t as bad as we thought it might be and is well worth the trip up.

Lindos village is a must see place. Amazingly large when you get in there. Full of shops, bars and restaurants and of course, donkeys!
The beaches in Lindos village are lovely and there are boat trips to Rhodes and Symi available. You can also get to Rhodes by bus, about an hour away. Well worth the visit, amazing in the old town within the fortress wall. Can be annoying to be constantly invited to try every cafe and restaurant though.
Beach at our hotel not good, full of rubbish and overgrown weeds etc. Needs a total re-vamp!
Every Greek person we met was friendly, welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.

The resort is very compact but is without doubt one of the most picturesque places I have ever visited. The resort is very clean and the locals are really friendly and take great pride in their village. The entertainment is mainly bar based with some nice wine bars, our favourites were Byzantino and Red Rose were we found the staff very friendly. Our favourites for eating out were the Acropolis roof taverna and Stefanys. The resort is quiet and suited more to couples than that of a singles holiday.

The resort of Lindos is perhaps one of the most beautiful places me and my partner have been with its narrow streets and lots of taverners bars pubs and craft shops, with stunning views over the sea and of the old castle on the hill. With a lovely beach set in a quiet bay perfect for swimming and snorkling. We would both recomend a visit to Lindos if you travel to Rhodes and dont forget to sample the local food!!!
