The resort offered everything we were looking for in terms of relaxation and some good greek culture and history.
The town was breath taking although very geared towards tourists and shpooing it was able to keep its roots and heritage.
Only down side being a little quiet so late in the season for us being in our 20's however definately not a problem.
Truly amazing...

Lindos is great in October! This time we went the last two weeks. It was a bit quieter but still very lively!
We got married at St Pauls Bay during this holiday and it was just fab!
All restaurants were still open during our two weeks there. The bars and clubs were quiet, but still enough people around! Only on our last night out we noticed that some bars were closing down, supermarkets were emptying their stock and one bar (Red Rose) was having their 'end of season personnel bbq' until late.
The beaches were great! Not busy at all. Very chilled athmosphere.
Had one day/evening of heavy storm which turned the streets of Lindos into rivers. This is very unusual though. We did not let it bother us! It all cleared up quick and the temperatures were back to normal again!
Will be back again! and again in October.

Lindos is a fabulous place to holiday. It is in a beatiful setting. The people are friendly and there is plenty to do. There are lots of wonderful restaurants - most with rooftop views of the acropolis.
The two bays are lovely, the main beach having lots of watersports and boat trips. We jumped of rocks into the water in the smaller bay (St Pauls)
I've been to Lindos a couple of times now. I won't go again for a while because there are so many places I want to see. But I would definitely recommend it. Just make sure you pick good accomodation.

First visit to Lindos and we liked it very much. Lots of restuarants to choose from with good selection of prices and tastes. Don't be put off if the resturants look empty - most of the tables / seats are on roof top terraces, with great view of Acropolis / Lindos by night.
Nice beaches and crystal clear water.
Lots of winding narrow streets make it great for exploring ....and getting lost!
Good base for exploring other bits of island too.

Lindos resort itself is built on the side of a steep hillside with the town located halfway down and the beach at the bottom. There are no roads in the town itself which means no cars. Small narrow paths weave their way past the many shops bars and tavernas in the town. There a plenty of places to eat and drink with some surprisingly mordern bars for a town steeped in history. The main beach of Lindos is a 15 minute walk downhill through the town and is well equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas, toilets and showers along with watersport facilites and 4-5 tavernas for eating and drinking during the day.
The beach itself ia a well maintained sand beach with clear blue water.
This is a fairly busy resort with the beach and town having lots of visitors during the day.
Eating out in the town in the evening is great experience as most places have rooftop gardens for dining.
There are a few nightclubs in the town itelf but the main one is located just outside the town via a free taxi ride from the main square. All bars in the town have a no music policy after 1am - 2am so it leaves the town a bit quieter after these times.
A great resort and wonderful beach a must visit for anyone holidaying in Rhodes.

There is plenty to do in both Lindos and Pefkos. There are some lovely beaches and a large variety of resturants and bars.

Lindos is too overcrowded, isolated and expensive compaired to the othe resorts on the Island, I would not recommend it to families as there is nothing for children to do, though for couples there are some cracking bars and clubs.
