Rooms were spacious and clean with modern facilities. air con is a must otherwise you wont enjoy your stay.
Maids were great and did good job as well. Yannis the gardener was amazing, keept pools clean, did singing, barbeque, his talents were never ending.

We found Lindos to be a lovely place to visit. The bank leading down to it can be a bit of a challenge with the way the taxi drivers drive but you soon get used to that. We ate out at a different resteraunt every night and never had a bad meal. Our favourite has to be the Chinese and the Acropolis reseraunts. There is some lovely pubs with a little bit for everyone. A visit to the accropolis is a must. We went 8am before all the bus loads of tourists came and we practically had it to our selves. A fantastic holiday was had by all. We will definetly be going back again.

Nothing much to do, all shops in Lindos the same.
Takes well over an hour to go to Rhodes by bus and they are so cramped people push and shove to get on, not bothered who they knock over.
The beach was ok but packed.
The resort is fine if you want a nice quiet holiday just lazing but don't expect anything more livelier than watching pancakes being cooked!
If you're hungry, arrive at the restaurant at least an hour before you want to eat even if your only having a pizza it will take them at least an hour to serve you. (thats where ever you go in Lindos).
Won't be returning.

Lindos town is one on its own with its busy narrow streets and rooftop restaurants looking down on to the sandy beach under the impressive acropolis, all the tavernas were inviting and serving excellant food . Pefkos is not as bustling as Lindos but has a very good selection of tavernas and restaurants also serving great food ,some being on the long sandy beach, the main street holds most of the eating places and bars.

Lindos is not particuarly clean and can often stink in high season due to the heat, many ares have rubbish lying around that have been there since i first visited lindos in 1989! Lindos by night is unforgettable-vibrant bars and restaurants, leather shops ceramics and gold shops, cafes and supermarkets and of course gift shops line the narrow twisted paths at the foot of the accropolis. the beach is crowded filthy dissapointing-I reccomend glystra or tsambika for beach lovers. lindos is unique and we will be coming back .

The resort of Lindos is amazing, I am constantly trying to get people to visit it!
The streets are only 5 feet wide and there are no cars, the resturants are all on the roof tops of the buildings and there are some amazing, chilled out bars. The beach is quite a trek there and back, especially in the heat but it is well worth a visit.
Sunbeds are 8Euros a day for 2 but the beach is really nice and not too crowded.
Lindos is hotter than anywhere on the Island and believe me after numerous visits there I have burnt the strangest of places, eyelids and belly button this year!!. Factor 30 at least for first day regardless of how well you normally tan.
We have seen a number of incredibly burnt people whilst we were there who underestimated how hot it really is... including some children who we felt really sorry for.
Anyway, the most romantic place in the world, good place to be romantic is the resturant next door to Mythos, (playa del casa i think) by the donkey enclosure. Fantastic view and also get to sit in secluded roof top, most of the time just myself and Chris there. For fantastic meat dishes try Ceaser's, more expensive than other resturants but staff and food really worth it.
Acropolis is worth a walk but best tip is to do it around 8am otherwise 20 bus loads of tourists turn up and all go up there!
Anyway, trying to book for next year, enjoy Lindos!!

Vliha is 5km from lindos. very quiet so fab for families and older couples. to quiet for 18 to 30s. however for a base its ideal. gorgeous beach opposite the hotel and bus stop a short walk away. bus to rhodes town 4 euro and to Faliraki a bit cheaper. Lindos is fabulous...the bars are great the beach small but very popular and safe. if you want lunch, go to Alex's fab value for money, or if you just want a snack there is a mini supr market right on the beach.. For a fabulous good value for money meal go to Mickis Cafe. Typically Greek interior. I had Fish and Chips (fish caught that day)(yes I was gagging for a bit of english food!!!) the kids had burgers and drinks. the total cost was 20 euros!!! Micki is lovely a real friendly guy. Lindos has it all it can be as noisy or as intimate as you like. it is very steep and narrow alleys and streets but if you want it bigger go to Blackpool!!! The Lindians couldnt be friendlier if they tried. i couldnt have wished for a better place to go for a total chill out holiday.. Roll on June 2007!!!!!

This was our second visit to Lindos. It is a lovely place to stay offering something for everyone from nightclubs to chilled out bars, lovely restaurants, three beaches and lots of shops. It is very crowded during the day at this time of the year due to the high number of day trippers but the numbers are manageable by late afternoon.
Don't go to Lindos if you are mobility impaired. It is steep and slippy.
I was disappointed with the main beach this time mainly because it was very dirty with litter and cigarette ends etc. The water was fine but the sand was dirty. We tried for the same sunbeds each day because on day 1, I cleared the area of rubbish.
There is only 1 ATM in the village now, right next to the donkey station. It ran out of cash every day we were there, so make sure you time your visit for around 10am when it has just been replenished.

Lindos is a beautiful ancient city that has lots to offer everyone.
The night life was impressive for such a relaxed resort. Shops and supermarkets close around midnight and the restaraunts and bars are open to the early hours.
There did seem to be alot of litter around the streets however I am sure this was due to the tourists and not the proud locals.
The beach is very small and crowded and not to our liking but there are other resorts close by with excellent beaches and the opportunity for snorkelling is great.
The food in Lindos and around Rhodes was excellent we did not have a poor meal all holiday.
Overall we thoroughly enjoyed Lindos and cannot praise the island enough.
