The hotel was very clean and a room valet sevice every other day.
Location for all ammenities is also first class and would recomend this to any one with young families,it is safe and parents can relax.
5 star entertainments on the complex again ideal for the young and not so young.

We went Self Catering but did have a couple of snacks on site. The vast array of restaurants are fantastic and the location of the Bellevue couldn't be better to reach all the amenities. The restaurants offer good quality food at reasonable prices - there were 7 of us and not one of us had a bad meal throughout the 14 nights we were there!
We would recommend eating at Nevada's - a small but friendly place (out the gate, turn left and it's just a few yards on the right hand side of the road). Angelo and his waiters were extremely friendly and the place was very clean.
Breakfasts - J.P's The Best British Pub (Next to Nevada's) do a bostin'sausage and egg or bacon and egg crusty roll (so my husband says) and Yummy Yummies are good value. Also Yummy Yummies does quite a good Vegetarian Menu - I would recommend their Vegetarian Lasagne!
We had a couple of meals at Tivioli Terrace ( right opposite the gates to Bellevue). This was a more sophisticated restaurant, typically Spanish and slightly more pricey (but not too bad) - would definitely recommend it especially if you get fed up of eating chips, chips and chips!!!
If you have small children with you Cheers and The Peach Pit (over the other side of the bridge) are a must. They have all the children's favourite characters such as Tweenies, Bob The Builder etc and have fun disco songs for them to dance to - my nephew who was 3 thought it was FAB!
Hotel staff were pleasant and friendly, as were our reps.
The Entertainment on the complex was 110% - we saw Robbie Williams, Westlife, Lord Of The Dance and Grease - all of which were on in the Show Garden. However, as we had chose to go in the wettest May for 100 years it was rather chilly, so we had to huddle around the Patio heaters.
The complex itself is huge! Crazy golf is great and the mini Fairground ride is a must for children - there is so much to see and do!
I'm not sure we would stay there again though, as it was a bit too big for what we like and was getting more rowdy towards the end of the holiday. If we went back to Alcudia though, we would definitley use their free facilities (entertainment, fairground, crazy golf, bike hire etc).
Had a great time, shame about the weather though!

Myself, my partner and two children had a great time on our 7 day holiday. Just let me tell you it is clean believe me. I have been on some holidays and this was the best by far - so good that I am going again to the Bellevue in June 2005 for 2 weeks.
The reps were great as was the resort itself loads and loads to do and places to eat.
The entertainment was brilliant and the staff were really helpful. The reps would come round in the day to get the kids joining in the activities and the same at the night time.
It's not loud and dirty and there

We have been abroad 9 times in the last 6 years and always somewhere different. The room was great, cleaned regularly, and all utensils and stuff found in any self-catering apartment.
We were in Neptuno 2 block (which is only 3 storeys high) and had a beautiful view overlooking lake Esperanza (which didn't have any smell whatsoever during the whole 2 weeks).
The entertainment for kids were fantastic: a fairground, great shows (the disney show was great for kids), big playground, pony-rides, full-size go-kart circuit, good- sized crazy golf course and 8 pools to choose from!
We went self-catering and found meals in Alcudia average price, but tried the Bellevue restaurant during 2nd week and went back nearly every night. It worked out roughly 4pounds for myself and only 2pounds each for the kids - to each as much as you wanted, the choice was excellent too.
Must admit that the rooms in the blocks behind the main reception and the big high blocks looked a bit crowded, but we were lucky to have the peaceful and scenic block Neptuno 2.
Didn't see one mosquito during the 2 weeks, not even near the lake (where we spent all day sunbathing on many occasions). As for rats? - i was worried about that, but again Not ONE to be seen anywhere!
Wish we could pick up this complex and take it around the world with us - would never find better.
Only complaint was Alcudia, didn't think much of it at all. Not a childrens resort at all. One Waterpark, one arcade - thats it for kids.
Like I said before we go abroad every year sometimes 2 or 3 times a year, and we've been all over Spain, Balearics, Canaries & Greece, so we have lots of hotels and resorts to compare to - and our opinion Bellevue was EXCELLENT!!!

At the bellevue there was a funny smell for about two days but the island has a funny smell any way. Tell you all the staff are very helpful and the cleaner's are boss. Very nice, clean the room every day and change the towels and sheets every other day. There was a bit of banging at night but did't mind, not every night just now and again.
There are Spar shops at the Bellevue park but was very dear so I would use the shop's on the main street. In the cafe for people on half board and the restaurant, I will tell you breakfast was ok and at dinner at night it was more than ok the food was bang on.
So any one planning to go then go and have a nice holiday.

Towels are changed 3 times a week and they are a joke! Thin as hell. The hotel doesn't even leave a bar of soap in the bathroom. The blankets are ridiciously thin and be prepared to sleep on camp beds. But rooms were clean.
Our room was freezing cold and we got charged a lot for a heater (most of the guests hired heaters as the rooms were like freezers due to previous bad weather).
Staff were okay but not too helpful or friendly. Some were a bit defensive.
The food was a disgrace. Chips, sausages, chips, sausages, ... all swimming in oil and you could have them even for breakfast. The boiled eggs were served raw (uncooked) in the mornings. The bread was at least two days old and the juice in the morning resembled sugary water with some colouring. But the fruit was fresh and very nice( especially the oranges and melons).
The location was good. The walk to the beach is only about 10 minutes down the mainroad which is no problem.
If you are looking for quality, don't go to the Bellevue. It might be a cheap week in the sun (or maybe not so cheap if you add up the costs for hiring hair dryers, paying for the TV and remote control, etc) but don't expect quality service or food!
