We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

The resort is pretty much what you would expect - usual shops and restaurants. It's a huge area and I'm sure we didn't get round all of it. There seemed plenty to do and loads of different places to eat - although I think the menus get pretty much the same after a while!
Prices were mixed - reasonable and more expensive if you wanted it. Some beachside restaurants (near the port) could be quite pricey and a couple in particular were expensive and disappointing so be careful.
Waterpark in Alcudia was 50 euros for a family of 4 and was a little disappointing.
All in all a good holiday with plenty to occupy the kids. Would definitely consider going again.

We did not spend much time out of the hotel as we had gone all inclusive. The market is a good place to visit we got quite a few bargains there. I personally would not visit this resort again but thats probably because I was not that impressed with our hotel.

allcudia is a lovely place with lots to see and lovely places to go. if you get chance go on a blanket trip up the mountains , you have to listen to a talk for 90 mins but well worth it. the beaches were clean and people friendly. i'd definately go back to allcudia.

Alcudia is a lovely resort. The beach was absolutely beautiful and there was plenty of space. The Port again was lovely - very busy.
A very family friendly place.

Me and my family found Alcudia the perfect place for our holiday. I was worried before i went as I was told it was pram city. I was pleasantly surprised because Alcudia has everything I want out of a holiday. Our hotel was right on the beach in the Playa de Muro area so if we wanted to alternate between the beach and the pool we could. The beach and views are to die for. if you wanted nightlife you could find it, if you wanted quiet bars you could easily find it. Waterparks, shopping its got the lot. We are going back twice in 2008!

Alcudia it"s self is a quiet resort and is spread out there is lively nightlife if you want it but is not Magaluf,!!! it has a distinct German touch with bikes the main mode of transport as this part of Majorca very flat, the beach is clean and you can walk all the way to C"an picafort along it (about 4klm ) this is our secound time to the south of Majorca and would return.

We visited Alcudia out of season, so perhaps not the best time to make an accurate assessment. I wouldn't say it is one of my favourite resorts - it is a bit sprawling, with lots of English bars, shops etc. The best thing about Alcudia is the beach and the sea, which is beautiful. The sea was even warm enough to swim in during April and it is very shallow, so safe for children. I was disappointed to see lots of people walking their dogs along the beach though. If you stay in Alcudia, I would recommend you stay on the stretch 2-3km outside of the main resort, where it is a bit quieter and there are nicer hotels. A visit to the S'Albufera nature reserve is a must.
