We had room 625 on the top floor overlooking the pool. It was perfectly adequate and not much road noise. A bit small but ok for 2 people as you don't spent much time in it apart from sleeping. Lovely modern walk in shower.

As this was not in high season the level of entertainment was still pretty high i.e. para-gliding, boat trips, bannana boats and pedalo's.
The standard was good as beach was raked or whatever they do to pick up the odd bits of litter.
The resort as a whole was kept very clean with plenty of workers to be seen around the area that we went to.

I really enjoyed staying in Alcudia.
It had a fantastic beach and our kids were really happy to go to the beach every day, the sea is really shallow for a good bit out and there are a lot of fish which kept the kids entertained for a day with a net which cost 2 euros.
There are the ususal pedloes etc to hire and a couple of nice bars on the beach. I can highly recommend the restaurant behind the swimming pool El Toro they had fantastic food which was reasonably priced, great kids menu, a bouncy castle for the kids and you got a free bottle of champagne every night, we ate there 6 nights out of 10 it was so good. t
The bar at the back of the Sol Alcudia Centre Tamarindo was excellent, great cocktails, good entertainment, and fabulous staff and play area for the kids.
We went go karting at the Bellevue complex which was great. We also went to the Hydro park which was not great I think that it would be better to take the trip to the great western waterpark in al ernal, as the staff at the hydro park were so grumpy and unhelpful.
I highly recommend a trip to the Crepe man for a pancake he makes the most fab crepes and is very entertaining. We went into the old town of Alcudia which is well worth a trip and they have a market on tuesdays and sundays the first time we got the bus back which was 6 euros and the next time we got a taxi as there was loads of people waiting for the bus but the taxi was cheaper as it was only 5 euros. and a much more comfortable ride.
I highly recommend Alcudia to anyone with a family.

Resort cleanliness was very good did apart from the dog mess by the lake it was good. The only problem we had and the rest of the guests was mosquitos I think it was late on in the season and the lake was full of mosquitos and they were biting everywhere I had 30 in 2 weeks so take plenty of insect repellent and cream and anithistimins and also plug in mosquito repellents for your room.
Plenty of entertainment for both adults and children during the day and we did rifle shooting and archery and french bowles and darts and pool and many more some of which were brill.
The beach was very clean and the water was very shallow so ok for families and young children it was also very warm.
The resort it self was very nice and the weather was excellent apart from one morning where it rained constantly but other than that it was great.
The pool was freezing I think it was because they were closing 1 week after we left so they turned it down but is was freezing.
As this was our first visit all inclusive I would definately re visit this hotel again as it is worth the money but go a bit earlier next time to hopefuly avoid the mosquitos and hopefully not get to badly bitten again.

A bit run down in places, but spot on in others, so a bit mixed! Quiet and friendly, but maybe end of October not the best time to get the real picture.
Shops good and well stocked, plenty of choices.
Local eateries we went to were 'The Epcot Cafe', very friendly, excellent food and well priced! Also 'Pizzeria Roma Restaurante' were we had a lovely meal and drinks! Waiters etc were really good with our 2 little girls and couldn't do enough! The free champers at the end was very much appreciated!
'Nicks' just around the corner is lovely too and very handy for popping out and getting take aways!!
All in all very happy with where we stayed, just watch out for the mossies and midges when you're out and about from 5pm onwards!!

WE found the resort to be very clean and the people very friendly. There are plenty of bins for your rubbish everywhere, at the beach, in the streets in fact everywhere.
As we were self catering we tried a few of the local restaurants. We liked \"The Peach Pit.\" We both really enjoyed one of the best steak pies there, no gristle and the pastry was great, no sogginess! We would also recommend \"Olas,\" because the food is frehly cooked there and the staff are brilliant. Very friendly!
I also enjoyed a nice crispy salad at \"The White Rose.\" A pleasant change to \"chips with everythng\" kind of food!
We found the only pub showing both the Scottish games in Alcudia! A nice quiet pub run by a couple of locals. Although, the place was absolutely buzzing on Saturday night as Scotland scored against France! The whole of the resort must have heard the resultant roar as Scotland scored! Next door at the \"Cheers\" bar, it seemed deathly quiet at the English 0-0 draw.
We enjoyed 2 or 3 nights there.
\"The Tamarindo Biergarten,\" just next to the hotel was really good. The three piece Croatian group \"Testa Rossa\" were very good. There were also tribute singers/ groups on every evening i.e. Stevie Wonder, The Blues Brothers, etc, a different act each night. They also served food, although we just enjoyed a couple of drinks and good music!
The beach was excellent! Very clean. Loads of sand and very safe for young families. You have to walk into the sea for ages until the water comes up to your waist, so it is excellent for young children!
Personally we felt that this was not the resort for us, as it seems to be almost a home from home, especially if you are English! There are plenty of bingo and kareoke bars if you like that kind of thing! We don\'t!
Also many of the bars have \"Eastenders,\" \"Coronation Street,\" \"Emmerdale\" etc. Not our cup of tea!
There are also McDonald\'s, KFC, Pizza Hut etc. near at hand! Why would you want to eat that rubbish there if you wouldn\'t eat it at home! As I said really a home from home if you are English!
It would be agood enough resort for young families or grandparents with grandcchildren but it was not for us!

Myself and my boyfriend have just gt back yesterday and we couldnt wait to get home. We are both 22 and I think this is best suited to older couples who want to go ouot for meals and a bit of light entertainment.
We could not find any boats and found broken glass and cigarette stumps on the floor. There were not many water activities to be found and there were 2 small arcade areas and that was about it. The places to eat shut just after 12 and the club we went to was full of underage children.
We certainly won't be going back and are upset we paid so much for so little.
