The resort starts to close down from 1 October so the restaurants/bars are limited. Views are superb from here tho, and if you do venture out there are good bus routes and a good road train that my son enjoyed.

Quiet hotel, but still plenty to do, unless you are a night clubber. This resort suits couples or families that just want to chill out, go out for a nice meal, a few Beers at night in the local british Bar without yobbos spewing up all over and making a noise.

Cala D'or Is well worth a visit it has everything from Burger King to Tapas Bars, the local buses are great and just loads and loads of shops.
Each of the coves in the resorts are excellent some have beach bars some are more expensive than others

Cleanliness fine.
Entertainment good in the local bars
Beach fine, but must be very busy at peak times.

Cala Dor is lovely. This is the 4th time I have visited, we did go slightly out of season this time, (end of september) so very quiet and weather not too good but the restaurants and bars still buzzing but not late at night. Looking forward to going back but not in September, will prob go in June or early July before the children break up!!

Cala Ferrera is fun and clean and great for young families. More clubs and football type bars etc are further down in Cala D'or itself together with a classy Marina if boats are your thing. There is something for everyone in Cala D'or- highly recommend it.

Esmeralda is a beautiful spot with a small beach that can get quite crowded and water gets deep very quickly. There are other lovely beaches to visit within walking distance. It's around a 15 minute walk into Cala D'Or which is a mass of bars and restaurants which are very competive and you will get pounced on if you stop to look at menu's which can be a little annoying. We did find it quite expensive this year and for a meal for 4 with a couple of drinks we were paying around 60 euros but there are many places to choose from and prices do vary.
There are many shops to wander round and bars offering entertainment, on the whole we loved it here and will definately be returning.

Resort of Cala D'Or much bigger than we originally thought. Huge selection of bars, restaurants, shops. Plenty to keep children entertained - Bungee trampolines, Go Karts, Bouncy Castles etc. Went to Esmeralda beach and Cala Ferrera, both beautiful little coves with clear turquoise waters. Very safe for small children. Would definitely go back to Cala D'Or, it's one of the nicest resorts we've been to in Majorca.
