Location
Our sons couldn't use the larger pool as it was too deep and at 9 and 6 they were too big for the paddling pool.
We paid extra for a suite, which was nothing more than an average room with the broom cupboard wall knocked down. The plugs for the kettle were above the childrens beds, we had mould on the wall due to the leaky air conditioning unit the other side of the wall and out of the windows we could see a flat roof and a brick wall. To make matters worse I had to ask three times for the room to be cleaned and we had ants.
The entertainment was awful, just like Butlins!
For the amount of money paid, and it wasn't cheap, they should have given us a refund as we boarded the bus home.
The hill is no problem as long as you don't have a wheelchair or heavy pushchair.
The food on the other hand was outstanding.
Don't bother complaining to any reps they don't want to know.

Rooms..very clean with everything you need, hairdrier, fridge, air conditioning and even a kettle. The maids are very good. Clean towels every day.
Food..outstanding. I never once was stuck for anything to choose. In fact sometimes there was so much choice. The roasts every night are marvelous. Gala dinner night was excellent. The only draw back was breakfast....Get The Toasters Fixed. The hotel even has a laundry room that you can use and you can borrow an iron
Pools....there are 2 one larger one and a smaller childrens on. Don't bother taking a lilo as there are usually plenty left that are passed from guest to guest. f you don't pass them on the pool staff just slash them with a knife. There is even a box outside Kidzone where people leave bucketsand spade etc. Around both pools there are plenty of shaded areas.
Sunloungers, plenty of them, but be quick.
Entertainment..was supplied by Marina, Thompson and outside entertainers. The Marina and Thompson reps keep very busy all day. Poolside games were played all day and at night there were games that usually resulted in ritual humiliation for someone.
Marina shows were very good (but mimed).Lee and his team did very well. Vicki(Thompson rep) worked very hard and their rep show was very good.
Childrens Clubs....both Marina and Thompsons run the clubs and Mini Disco (fed up listening to Rolf Harris) and the children love it
Location...a lot has been said about the 'Slight Incline'....it is a hill. I am sure I saw 'Sherpas' roped together climbing it. Actually it is not too bad and it helps you keep you weight down after the great meals.
Down side.....Bar staff very slow and there were only 2 waiters on duty at night.
Highlight of my stay.....being allowed to dress up as Thompson the Dog on my last night
Would I go again a definate YES,

The cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding.
Rooms a bit on the small side when fully occupied, but the contents excellent. A kettle, fridge, hairdryer and a television so no need to take the travel stuff which just adds extra weight in your luggage!
The entertainment excellent. Something different every night. Don't miss the Thomson cabaret every friday! All the entertainment team work so hard to provide the right entertainment suitable for all ages.
The baby pool is excellent, my two children aged 1 and 2 used to be afraid of the pool but they loved it this holiday. Beware of the stampede though to get a sunbed in the morning. The doors open at 8.30am but people go queing from 7.30am. I only did this on our last day and I took a cup of tea with me. If you are going to queue, then it is definately worth taking a drink and something to read maybe.
I have never been to a hotel where on a welcome meeting, the manager of the hotel and her managerial team also greet you. I found this was really nice as if you had a problem you knew the right person to go to.
We had a fantastic holiday but did have a couple of downfalls.
When we arrived, our flight landed at 9.30am. We had trouble finding the reps to greet us so ended up running up and down the airport until we found someone who spoke english from thomson and not german.
Secondly, we arrived at the hotel at about 10.30am, only to find our room wasn't ready until 1.00pm. When you have been up since 1.00am with two small children who are tired and irritable, we would expect our room to be ready.
Thirdly, when you pre-book a stroller and sun canopy, expect the sun canopy to be the hood of the buggy. I wish we had took our own sun canopy as my son wasn't protected from the sun.
The final thing, the kettles should be put higher up than where they are on the bedside.
Big thumbs up to Nina, Nikki, Lynsey, Laura and Sam. The most helpful, friendly and lovely reps we have ever met. The Thomson reps team were all fantastic and with them as a team you are guaranteed to have the holiday of your life. Never mind the hill!!!

Everything about the hotel and staff was 100% could not fault anything. The only thing I could fault is the location but cannot be that bad as we returned again .

the location was quite good for us as it was right next to magaluf, but you cant hear any noise from the hotel, which is good.it is only a 2 minute walk to the beach aswell, but beware of the hill on the way back, its a killer, if youve just come back from clubbing!!!!
the hotel staff i noticed were more helpful to the familys rather than couples without kids, i dont think they spoke to us once, unless we spoke to them first or asked them a question.
we didnt really stay in for the hotel entertainment as we went out to the bars alot, but we did see it on the last night as we had to wait for our transfer to the airport,it wasnt really my taste but the older guests looked like they enjoyed it,it was a bit like butlins.sorry.
but the accomadation was lovely, pretty basic but its all you need, and you get channel 3!!!!!!

We stayed on half board basis. The food was buffet-style with a huge huge selection at breakfast and dinner, they cater for every aspect which was great. They have seperate kids buffet with things like chicken nuggets and sausages and beans.
Cleanliness exceptional. Maid service every day without fail and always see maids cleaning around the hotel. Toilets clean.
The location was OK, very near to the beach but up a steep hill which is quite a struggle with a pushchair and would be difficult for elderly or disabled. Not ideal after a few beers.....
Hotel staff more than friendly and reps always around the hotel.
All round entertainment for everyone. Mini disco for kids and football for the men. Watersports and bingo and lots more throughout the day.
Would definately visit again when my daughter is out of the pushchair !!!

The staff were the most friendly and helpful people I have ever come across and the Thompson reps went beyond the call of duty.
The food was brilliant with a fussie 6 year old she had something different to eat each day and she loved it.
The childrens club was great and my daughter really enjoyed it and made so many friends.
The rooms were very clean and roomy and had everything you needed, hairdryer and even a fridge. So it wasn't so heavy on the pockets for all that lemonade for the kids.
Entertainment I can only say was fantastic and would highly recommend this hotel to everybody.

If i was going to get picky the only drawbacks would be queues for the bar - not due to poor workers (the staff really did run around and never seemed to stop) but l would say understaffing but we were there spring bank week and the week after did get better
Also the queues for the sunbeds did get silly spring bank week and really wasn't for the faint hearted espically when the doors were opened and the stampede began, but again once springbank week was over this did get better.
The bedrooms are of the usual size and when occupied by 2 adults and 2 children space is limited, next time would pay the extra and get a suite with more room.
There were lots of children afterall it is a superfamily hotel, but on the whole they were well behaved, far better than i.ve seen on previous holidays.
Extra money spent was well worth it and will certainly book another superfamily hotel again.
