Santa Ponsa is a really nice place to stay, lovely beach with wooded area behind. Good choice of eating places, shop etc although the resort hadn't quite got going being April, which did not bother us at all. Good bus service to neighbouring resorts and the choice of an express bus to Palma (102) or (104) for the long way round via Magaluf, Palmanova etc.
We will definately stay in Santa Ponsa again.

The resort was clean, although there was a fair bit of construction work happening which didn't help the dust clouds!
Entertainment was the usual mix of bars and restaurants, shops. It was too early in the season to judge.
The beach was clean, with sunbeds and umbrellas. Plenty of space at this time of year.
I would recommend this resort to anyone, but there are some hilly bits to watch out for.

this is the quieter side of santa ponsa so is better for families. the other side was livelier, but can see it getting rowdy in high season.
try astro bar owned by andreas - very friendly man. good value tasty food and drinks.
not that much dog poo when we went!
the only reason i would not stay again is because we tend to try a different location/country each time.

Santa ponsa is a great resort but be careful which part you stay. The centre of Santa Ponsa around the Irish quarter, superb if you want plenty of bars and clubs, but can be very noisy, especially high season. The new top end of Santa ponsa is much more suitable for families, and some very good restaurants. Very large well kept beach with safe bathing, plenty of water sport facilities mid summer.

There is lots of Irish bars but they don't open till May, we ate at the Glasgow in the square very nice food and you get plenty for your money very recommended would visit this resort but only when the season starts.

The main street is nice, loads of bars, although many closed in February. I wouldn’t want to stay here in the height of summer! I suspect the apartments are mostly used then for Club 18-30.

Santa Ponsa on the whole is quite a tidy place. Not much litter/vandalism but walking around pushing a buggy in the dark you have to be wary of a lot of dog dirt!
The entertainment around the town is very much aimed at families and people who just want to have a nice meal and relax.
We did go at the end of the season but apart for a few more live acts on stage I dont think the place gets much louder than a sing along.
I think the beach would get very busy in the summer but we found it quite worn out when we came down. Broken sunbeds the whole beach littered in cig butts, couldn't put our baby down.
It is a nice enough place for families with plenty of things to do and the reps tell me it is better in the peak of summer but I'm not to sure.
Dont hate the place but it was OK.

Lovely clean streets!!
This resort is ideal for families as there are a number of bars which are themed for the children that have staff that entertain your children with a number of activities whilst you sit at nearby tables enjoying a bit of adult conversation!! Bars and restarauntes are suitable for most ages with plenty of live entertainment every night of the week.
The beach is lovely & clean and its a great walk from one side of the bay to the other.
As for going back, we are actually flying out on Weds for a 10 day break!!

The resort was fairly clean apart from dog mess. No one picks this up! The Square has good shows on each night, but these don't start til 9.30p.m. and there's a 30 min break til they come back on and finish at 11.30p.m. If you don't have small children then don't arrive til 9.30 otherwise it's like Butlins! We weren't impressed with Robbie Williams but Abba and the Temptations were excellent. The hypnotist at the Caledonian on a Tuesday night was good and the karaoke afterwards. Most of the bars are Irish, a few are Scottish. Some of the irish bar staff were rather unfriendly if you didn't have an irish accent! The beach was excellent, though crowded. Everything in this resort is over-priced. There's not a lot to do and we were glad to come home. We wont be going back.

Santa Ponsa was brilliant. Myself and my friend really enjoyed it and have already booked up to back next year. The pubs and disco's are brilliant as we like to dance and found ourselves dancing all night in manhattans and disco inferno until 07:30 most mornings. Most people we meet were Irish which was nice and also there a lot of Irish bars with a mixture of entertainment each night. The beach is lovely and plenty of sun beds.
