Having only ever visited Magaluf & Palma Nova previously in Majorca, I can say Santa Ponsa is a lot more appealing than them. It is fairly mixed with a lot of young families, couples and groups. It seems to attract large numbers of teenagers from Scotland and Ireland but they tend to congregate around the Irish bars - of which there are lots - all next door to each other!
A nice pleasant beach fringed with pine trees which are home to some lovely green parrott's. Not a great choice of good restaurants but plenty serving very average food.

It's our third time in Santa Ponsa and was our best.
Loads for the family to do inthe evenings with the square having entertainment every night.
Berties is a must for you if you want a quiet pint while the staff play games with the kids .MRS.Murphys and kellys on corner are restaurants you must visit.

We were only based at Santa Ponsa for a few days, so we cannot really comment too much on the area. However, we had some lovely meals in the restaurants & what we did see, ie: the beach, shops etc were very good, & we would definitely go back there, but we would stay at a different Hotel next time.

Santa Ponsa is VERY family friendly. Most bars or restaurants have toys or bouncy castles for the kids.
'The Plaza' is an area full of bars that has a stage in the middle and theres a kids mini disco every night with face painting. The Tweenies also make an appearance!

Santa Ponsa is a small town. It is fairly quiet but has plenty to do if u look for it.

Loved Santa Ponsa. Beach lovely , really clean, some water sports and boat trips.
A wide variety of entertainment.
Not far from other resorts.
Only 20 minutes from airport.
Great for families and couples. There were some groups of lads and/or girls but weren't loud or annoying to us at all.

Santa ponsa is a mix of Friendly Scottish and irish bars and gift shops, with a few supermarkets.
There is also the square entertainment mini disco for the kids and singing groups.
The beach is clean and the lilos/parasols cost 3 euros a day. there are waterbikes and pedalos for hire and glass bottom boat rides.
There is a smaller beach about 15 mins away ideal for swimming and snorkeling.
