This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Dont go, There is not one guest I stayed with who enjoyed themself. My poor 3 year old was begging to go home

Do not except a bungalow near the road that surrounds this complex i as was told by other holidaymakers who stayed here they were the ones that got robbed on a regular basis . the words quick getaway come to mind

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

don't choose the bungalows - poor outlook an isolated.
Local bar the Crazy Goat good fun and excellent food at Mustang Sally.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

This would be good in height of summer when really hot then open roof woudnt matter and definitely need transport of your own

Resort itself was very clean, not as many fag ends on the beach as in some places, although the area between the current beach and the 'new' beach could do with some cleaning. Water stays shallow for a fair way out making it safe for the kids.
Lovely little parks for the kids to play in all over the resort.
New commercial centre is great, has a bowling alley which is great but the prices change per day and time of day too, the shopping in the commercial centre is much cheaper than that 'in' resort.
Would consider returning to Caleta De Fuste

The resort is so relaxing walk out of the back hotel gate(take your card key)and you are on the sea front.
Turn left to the harbour about 10mins walk all on the flat, there are lots of bars cafes and plenty of activities to do from boat rides diving jet bikes snokling and many more...feed the fish
the chipmunks are on the rocks near the sea a bit further on the path will come to you if you rattle the food.
Night time the main place is pierros bar all free shows.
If the bar is full just sit in one of the bars across and you can still see the shows it's great fun.
Days out, visit oasis park 33 euros fab day,included in price,fully escorted around park saw parrot/crocodile/ sealion/bird/shows all fab camel ride 45 mins plus great buffet lunch/tea coffee and bun on arrival. "don't miss"
Camels go up the hill and down other side great photo's and lots of fun from the guides. happy holidays roll on march.....

The resort has everything except a disco(which is a good thing)the beach is clean, there are all the shops you could want, you must visit Mambos restaurant for a wicked steak meal, the Atlantico centre is there for all your self catering needs, all in all we had a fantastic time and will be going back for our seventh year next year only this time we will definitely go back to the Caleta Garden

The resort is small and quiet (but this might just be down to the time of year)found it to be very clean the streets were line with trees and pretty plants. Always seemed to be entertainment on at most bars and hotels. I was however disappointed with the coastline, there is only one small beach,no beach activities at all, mostly rocky coastline. chipmonks were fun to watch. We would not go back to this resort because we found it to small and we tend to like to try new place every year.

Visited New Showboat chinese excellent food , good value.
Fado Rock, they all rave about this one, went there not fussed, better value and quality elsewhere .
Trafalger good food and beer prices reasonable
Scots Corner good breakfast and beer.
Country Kitchen. Waited ages for food and when it came it was not very good.
Kings on the front ,lousy pint of Carlsberg, guinness OK but expensive.
Beach area looks clean.
Can't comment on nightlife but many enjoyed until 3 in morning.

The resort itself was fantastic. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and you are made to feel welcome. Pieros is a good night out as they have excellent entertainment and stay open until 3am! We found the beach extremely clean and spent most of our days there.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday, but did feel let down by the accomodation.

its hard to pass coments when it rained so much because no beach looks nice in the rain and when it floods you cant see how clean it is but i would go to the resort again

Sadly the resort is not what is used to be. The streets are dirty, pavements broken and there is really not much going on at all.
It's OK I suppose for a week, but don't bother for longer.
Beach is OK, but even that has become dirty - the promenade round it is need of repair too.
Tacky shops and not much else going for the resort really - shame, it used to be so nice here!
