This is a large hotel and I stayed in block two which seemed the best option (I had e-mailed the hotel previously to request) it is not noisy and close to amenities

Shop around for the best price. sometimes it is cheaper to use the internet like Trivago and other times booking with the hotel direct is cheaper, strange but the last booking I made for later in the year I am making a saving of £40 a night on an airport hotel booking. Some hotels like Barcelo give discounts if you register with them under their My Barcelo banner 5% plus 5% for over 55's.

Away from the swimming pool area, very noisy all afternoon, those who wanted their afternoon siesta were not happy.

Don't take a room at the back of the hotel as these seem to be the ones plagued by mosquitoes.

Slightly more than a 20 minute walk from town. Car definitely needed, but well worth it.

We liked this resort for a week break, plenty of nice places to eat and enough shops to buy any duty free and nic-nacs you may want. The town was clean and we did not get any hassel when out. Cnnot comment on the beach as we don't tend to visit beaches when we are on holiday not really our thing.

the resort was clean and tidy and beach was fine althou there was only one place to get a drink or something to eat on beach all thou the water was clean and safe enough for my daughter to swim in.
i wouldnt go back to this resort only for the fact there is nothing to do apart from ave a meal, there are lots of resturants and a few shops the resort its self is very small you couldnt really get a drink any where unless you wanted a loud bar or disco, not a place for teenagers and we was even bored, theres only so many times you can walk round this place you can walk round the shops in a hour and its the same walk every night so got very boring after a few nights.
we ate at a few place tryed the irsh bar ( never again ) food terrible service as well was the worst ive ever had in my life, tryed a few other places but the best resturant we found was the windmill very good prices home cook food run by english couple they dont rush you made us feel very welcome we went back 9 times so that says it all. didnt really expore the island as we didnt want to hire a car as we drive for a livin so wanted time off from that all thou i wish we had as it would of been much better to see a bit more of the island than just one bit. my tip is to hire a car so you can expore. all in all a nice clean place but a bit boring if ya dont drive.

The resort was quite clean, and beach was lovely, to paddle out though was quite a mission with the rocks so you need something on your feet, but beach not too croweded and plenty of sun beds for hire.
The entertainment we came across was mainly one bar, Pierros which seemedto be the hub of the resort, live music each night and a really good atmosphere, which we found lacking in most other bars, the bar opposite Pierros also had good music and you were usually able to get a seat outside. The resort is ideal for families and couples, or people looking for a relaxed break, no lager louts etc which makes a change. Plenty of places to eat and everyone very friendly. We thought the prices in bars were quite expensive though. Would definately visit again.

The resort is fairly small, there is a lovely prom around the bay.Lots of new accomodation being built away from the centre. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, prices very similar to the UK.
If you dont fancy the transfer coach a taxi from the airport was only 10 euros

Although quite new the resort and the beaches are quickly taking shape. During the week we were there several beaches were levelled and towards the end of our week were occupied by local holiday makers.

Didn't think much to the resort really, was only 1 lively bar.Pieros which was good fun.Get there early to get a seat though.Just mainly restaurants, after about 10pm theres nothing to do.wouldnt recommend to young couples or young groups, was good for our family holiday but i have been to better resorts.Found there was alot of elderley couples about so no wonder it went dead after 10pm.Beach was ok but we prefered just to stay by the hotel pool.Visit the Atlantico centre for some nice shops and bowling, restaurants, bars etc.Wont be visiting this resort again.

Caleta is quite a quiet resort which was fine for us with young children. However, the older ones in the group felt it was a bit too quiet for them.
Calete de Fuste is a good base to travel from. I would recommend that anyone wishing to hire a vehicle, do it on-line before travelling if they are going in August. This is because of the annual Italian holidays which lasts for 4 weeks. Many of them travel to Fuerteventura for a cheap holiday and hire all the cars. I wish we'd known that!

Resort great for family with youn teenagers, enough for them to do. No night clubs but that was fine for our age group loads of bars and places to eat, lots with entertainment.
