Play des Ingles is a preety quiet resort. I was expecting a livelier area. The area seems full of 50+ couples
There wasnt much to do after 7pm.
There are lots of tacky shopping centres which seem a bit run down.
At least the resort has a nice central location

This has been about our tenth visit at least to Gran Canaria always visiting between September and April as the summer months are mad not suitable for families at all.
There is a great selection of bars and restaurants with very good food and good value for money we alway visit the beach at amadores as its so clean and then go to flipper bar for lunch and dinner the food there is great and the waiter andy is really friendly.
If you fancy a long walk on the beach walk along from playa del ingles to the lighthouse at faro lots of sights to see on the way.

Have visited playa del ingles on many occasions over 18 years, still cant find such a lovely resort anywhere else with plenty to do for all the family and not get bored. Would recommend to anyone who wishes to take a holiday with all year round sunshine.

The resort was amazing. the nightlife was great and the entertainment that was on was fun.
They had bar crawls on a monday, wednesday and a friday which we realy enjoyed. there was also a booze cruise which was great. the PR's were a good laugh. We got to know a lot of folk out there.
The restaurants were very nice and not too expensive. Overall we realy enjoyed playa del ingles and we recommend that you should go to the plaza, your guarenteed a great night.

Walked on the sanddunes from Maspalomas to Playa De'l Inglès, beware lots of nudist beaches .Took the bus to Las Palmas, great for shopping.
Went to a waterpark outside Playa del Inglès, great slides, but expensive and food same and not of great quality. Hired a car for the day and drove up through the middle of the island and down the west side. Roads like the A93 Blairgowrie to Braemar road , twisty and up and down mountains, but on a much grander scale.
Views were spectacular. The road down the west coast weas pretty much the same , but on the side of a mountains with steep drops into the sea. Probably not the best route as tiring and lots of driving.
Holiday was excellent, but felt as though we had seen pretty much of the island , if I went to Gran Canaria, would probably try another resort.

Resort was good, with plenty of good eating places and shopping centre close by. The beach is worth a visit but very busy. We would visit this resort again.
