Go above 2 floor avoid roadside, Adults only so quiet hotel until dog barks.nice staff and they even have a bearded lady who is quite a colourful character in the restaurant.

2 weeks before email and ask for 3rd floor or higher, near as possible to the elevator, with a pool view.

When we booked our holiday to playa de ingles i was warned that it was very clubby and noisy and full of 18-30 holidays. It might have been the time of year we went in but we had no trouble with noise at all.
The beach was lovely but there was very few english people on there and lots of germans.

It was a bit of a walk tp the main beach but i did not mind this as it keeps you fit. There is a small beach 5 minutes away if you did not want to walk.
We found some great pubs in the irish centre which is not far away.

The resort itself is ok cleanliness wise but could do with having the street cleaned up a bit, the entertainment is very good something to suit everyone from the young to old.
If any of you oldies are fond of ballroom dancing there is open air dancing in the Kasbah centre every night around half eight it is a sight to see.
For the young and lively the Irish centre is very good Brogans bar is great especially John who provides great entertainment as the night goes on it get quite noisy in the irish centre.
For something quieter and the best happy hour on the island go to the Pak Tavern in the green field from eleven to twelve where it is a genuine two for one offer the yumbo centre is a bit of a laugh with all the drag shows Cafe la Belle is good.
The beach is great especially the walk from Playa del Ingles end to the lighthouse Faro end. It takes about an hour and a half but is full of all sorts of sights some good , bad, and funny.
We definately will visit the resort again this is our third St Patricks Day there and hopefully we will make it back again next year.

THE RESORT WAS OK. DID PREFER PUERTO RICO AS A RESORT BUT HOTEL IN PLAYA DEL INGLES DEF BEST BEEN IN FOR A FEW YEARS

The resort is has many commercial centres within walking distances. My teenage daughter and I had the misfortune of going to the Kasbah centre where she got shop keepers grabbing her and trying to kiss her. Not a pleasant experience. The beach was avery long walk away so never got there
Transfer by coach from the airport to the hotel is about 30 - 40 minutes. The weather in march was outstanding

Well this is our third time at playa Del ingles and we just keep coming back. Location is great, entertainment is all around you. The Yumbo centre is great at night (mostly gay people} but families are made very welcome. The beach is 15 mins walk downhill and a taxi cost you 4 euros. There are many other centres around like the chaparral, cita centre and the Kasbah. Definitely going back again in October 06

An excellent place for your holidays , lots to do, for all ages.
The streets are cleaned every morning as well as the beach. The sand dunes are amazing and a great form of exercise should you wish to climb to the top !!

Not my kind of resort too built up and comercialised.

have been coming to playa del ingles since 2000,people very friendly,very clean,went to majorca in 2002,absolutely no comparison whatsoever,especially when I got food poisonoing,have made friends in playa del ingles from first visit,and always look them up when I go back,they like you to have a good time,love the beach, because you have bars and shops close by,will never go anywhere else.

Resort very dirty and dated ,seems every building is 30 years old.We found bars expensive.
