This Hotel should not be aimed towards couples.... the words "playground" and "youth hostel" come to mind. The entertainment for the kids was fantastic and they all looked like they were having real fun for families there is alot to do. For my partner and I it was a total nightmare The bar is horrible, uncomfortable and far to light in the evenings this was a holiday for us to relax and you could not which was a shame seeing as it was all inclusive. I would recommend an adults bar. Again great for families not for a couple who want to drink and have a good time...
The food was very agreeable, and fresh, sometimes repeated but generally pleasant and a good variety of salads and drinks. The problem occurred with the small canteen and the hundreds of children screaming which again was not relaxing.
Entertainment aimed at families- after 10pm it turns into adult entertainment which sadly consisted of who could get rat arsed the quickest before the bar shuts bazaar.
The location was fantastic right on the beach we has bad weather so we didn't get to see alot of it.
The rooms were really big and spacious and generally clean, really 80's really needs updating. Nothing special.
the staff were amazing efficient friendly and so hardworking, The reps were like 12 and i do not doubt that this hotel will put people off ever going with thomas cook again who pay their wages... but did they care ......NO. Generally Ok nothing great. It was a 2* in all fairness.

Went all inclusive first week of January, had a great time, lovely clean rooms. Good choice of food, hotel staff, couldn't do enough for you. Entertainment definitley for children under 6.

Having read reports before going didn't know what to expect but the apartments were clean and it was through out.
It was our first time all-inclusive the food was ok but we did eat out a few times, if you like pork you'll be fine.
Staff were great but entertainment was mostly for the kids.
Reps seemed ok but didn't have much to do with them but they did give wrong information about airport on bus going home.
Don't going expecting a 5 star it is only a 2 star and we had a good holiday.

Never again! I would never waste huge amounts of money. A complete waste, the entertainment was rubbish I hated the place.

On arrival this hotel looked lovely. The 1st day was fine the 2nd day it just went down hill. The food was'nt very nice. Children were helping themselves to the food as you know children are'nt the cleanist people around.
The reps were of no use and the lounge area where we were meant to have entertainment was small and smokey. The entertainment was only suitable for a 6 year old.
Never again would I go here. Kids were rude and were not supervised when the posters claimed they had to be suppervised.

The hotel itself was'nt that bad it was in a lovely location the beach was fantastic and clean green water. The entertainment was an absolute dive the bar staff were friendly the reception staff were also very nice.

I visited the Punta Jablillo (tongue twister)in January as you would have thought the weather wasn't too great but we had a marvellous time.
The staff were excellent and deserved a better hotel to work in as the hotel cleanliness was really poor! The entertainment perfect for toddlers the location couldn't have been any better as the beach is only minutes away.
The only real dissapointment was the food that was rotten!!!!!!!Most children only eat chips and they were always cold. I would go back but I would go self-catering.

The food was lovely lots of choice. Staff were a bit to keen to take your plates away some times whipping them away before you have finished eating. Not much choise on the dessert.
The pools were clean but very cold I only went in once all week. The whole complex was very clean and most of the staff were very friendly especially Ozay the bar man very funny too.
Perfect location right next to the sea. The entertainment wasnt up to much it was mainly for the kids but did come back singing a few of the kids songs.
We all had a wonderful time and we all would definitley go there again.

Apartments were ok if a little dated. Pay TV and even a charge to rent! a remote control.
Food was disgusting and always cold.
Pool area did not look very clean.
Asked rep if we could move, the only thing she said was available was going to cost another E800. Went to head office in Puerto Del Carmen. They found us alternative apartments in Puerto Del Carmen. It was on a self catering basis, but we would have taken anything to get away from Punta Jablillo!
In future will take notice of comments made on this site

We booked this hotel last minute just as a get away hoping for a lovely relaxing holiday - nothing of the sort.
Arrived at the hotel and it did not look very welcoming. The hotel reception needed a complete makeover everything needed new. When you went in the room there were ants everywhere. We put a mobile phone on charge in the bedroom and the shelf fell off the wall. The wardrobe doors were metal and would not shut, the windows wood not lock. Everything was dirty, the shower and bath.
I would not have touched the food and dining hall was diabolical there were yellow plastic table cloths.
Luckily we managed to get moved from this hotel to a 4star which was the Occidental Allegro Oasis this hotel was fantastic.
The Punto Jabbillo I would never even walk through the door again.
