Lots of places to eat outside resort.
Recommend going Bed and Breakfast, ignore half board option.
Do not book April, May, June as 80 percent closed with only one restaurant on offer.

If you can afford it, get a suite. Overlooking the pool and the sea - perfect!

My top-rated restaurants are Camel, Bodegon Las Tapas, La Romantica, and Ninen.

Avoid altogether. Vastly overpriced.
2* - being generous. A very large ‘holiday camp’.
Pool areas fine except for other guests! Ring-fencing areas, playing loud music on portable speakers. No consideration for anyone. Vulture behaviour for sun beds ? Up at the crack of dawn we assume?
Altogether awful- unless you have very low expectations and this is your idea of holidaying, which amazingly seems to suit many of the ‘Indiscerning’ guests. Very disappointed with Althams and Jet2 for recommending.

Resort very clean - no cockroaches! . . (yeah honest! - not one).
Quiet and relaxing and safe.
Not for the young 18-30 brigade but great for us oldies and young families.

Playa Blanca appears to be a quiet resort on first impression. To be honest I only visited once for about two hours at night so I'm unable to justify a comprehensive review.

Beach was rocky infront of the hotel, Papaygo beach is nice soft sand with a nudist part to the far end of the first beach from the hotel.

We drove through the resort centre several times without stopping to look at it(We were always going somewhere else) it seemed to be just a few shops along the length of a road. One day we stopped, brilliant, go off the main road and down to the front , bars restaurants beach fabulous. Try the tapas bar, beer supplied with a small Sardine salad(no charge for the Tapas). Beautiful and clean. You can go to Feurtoventura by boat, we did, wouldn't bother with that one to be honest. Nice lively resort

My family and I have been going to Lanzarote since my children now 13 and 11 were toddlers and have always loved the island. Playa Blanca is absolutely fantastic with lovely beaches, the best on the island, and a good choice of shops and restaurants. The resort is always clean and tidy and the beaches are always spotless.

This resort was spotless, but very quiet at night, no
entertainment, and the apts bar shut at 6pm. The beach was
very rocky unless you walked a mile along the pathway. We got the impression evening entertainment wasn't encouraged,
Lovely marina and very picturesque, but very much on the
outskirts of a more vibrant centre.

Avoid unless 2* makes you happy. Sadly- it clearly does for many guests.
