I have stayed at the Bali loads of times and never once did I come away without feeling yes I've had a good holiday.
The room this time was a studio and it was everything we needed and was nice and clean the staff were very helpfull down to just taking a short while to fetch me extra pillows I will be going back to the Bali in two weeks that will be twice this year and will be back there again in Oct.

Hotel Bali (Hotel BURGLARY) We are one of 9 couples who stayed in this hotel and were burgled.
We hired a safety deposit box on the advise of the hotel reception and the Thomson Rep, but this was a waste of time and the thieves just ripped it open. Thomson knew this had occurred many times before, but omitted to tell us at the time.
We will definitely not be staying at the Bali again, and would advise all other British people to avoid.

Our first holiday abroad, went very well and we thoroughly enjoyed it, Entertainment was good every evening, team organising the entertainment were great. Lovely food, always plentiful, even my fussy 7 yr old ate well!!!
Rooms were basic but clean, sheets changed every other day and clean towels most days. However the holiday was marred by the fact a pair of gold earrings went missing from our room on the final day...the only reason i would not return to this hotel again
Cardiac hill we found a breeze (and i was 4 months pregnant).
Loads to do and see in and around the resort, and the weather was good considering the time of year.

When we first walked into our room the smell was disgusting and it looked like a hostel the baby's travel cot was disgusting not fit to put a dog in. I was very unhappy and disappointed I refused to unpack and complained to reception.
I had to stay in the room the first night as they were fully booked but moved us first thing in the morning to the rooms above reception which were more to the standard I was used to. They were basic but clean and thats all I wanted. It ruined the first day but once we had moved I had no complaints with the hotel.
The food was fantastic even my fussy 3 year old loved it.
The entertainment was great for us and the children.
I would recommend this hotel even though the hill did get a bit to much pushing two buggies up twice a day but we really enjoyed our holiday there.

First impressions not good, dressing table with one drawer missing the other hanging off, bed with 3 broken slats stuck with some kind of tape! We insisted they move us the first night, this they did but then immediately put someone in the other room!
The best thing about this hotel is the food, you cannot fault them as they really provide a wide variety. Kids moaned but that is only because these days they know noting but junk food so turn their noses up at real food!
I would only recommend this hotel to families as it was full of kids and they were running around till after midnight so the entertainment area was a no go for us! We like kiddies but not all night.
Reps were good and helpful but the prices of the trips were a bit steep some were 3 times the cost of local travel shops.
Preferred staying in the Torremolinos area on a previous visit as much more to do there, Benalmadena Marina was the nicest thing about the area.
Local buses good but packed with people going to and from torrie!

Just come back from this holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We were in a studio and I must say it was one of the better rooms we have ever stayed in, quite modern and very clean.
The daytime entertainment team were great, always trying to include both adults and children in pool games, darts and archery, and even though they were mainly Spanish spoke very good English.
We were self catering so went out for meals, but did hear that the food was superb from other guests.
Our room overlooked the pool and it was very quiet even during the day, and on a night we were not bothered by any resort noise at all.
Cardiac hill was quite steep, but if you did it a a gentle stroll it wasn't too bad.
I would definitely stay here again, only 5 mins from beach and loads of bars in immediate vicinity, choice of 2 supermarkets within 5 mins walk, excellent location.
The pool had plenty of room for the guests to lay around, even if you didn't go down there till mid afternoon.

HOTEL BALI BELAMADENA:
The hotel has had some refurb work done in the last year, and me and the wife were well happy with what we saw.
Food was Great, with multi choices and loads of pudddings for the kids "and me" LOL
All topund, I would say the hotel was good and i have already booked for the entire family for 2006.
The only downside, would be the lack of staff in the winter months in the bar but thats just like being back home anytime.

We went to this hotel on a half board basis,the food was ok plenty to choose from for the adults but not much choice for the children for the main course. Deserts plentiful,staff friendly enough but you were not allowed to bring your own drinks into the restaurant and they were charging around a

This hotel is perfectly located to get to anywhere along the stretch of area between Torremolinos & Fuengirola (bus stops all along main road and is very cheap, think it was about 1 euro) - Could be a problem for people with walking or breathing difficulties due to short though very steep hill to main road & prom though I believe there is another route (a little longer) down.
The hotel itself was lovely. Clean & very spacious apartments and very well set out.
We did not eat at hotel restaurant, so can not comment on food there, although in general to eat out is very cheap in that area. Bar prices in hotel, very reasonable & have happy hour each night, 2 for 1.
Entertainment we saw seems to be for kids (although we were late in season)
We would definitely book there again. Over all great hotel & great central location.

Stayed in the Apartments which are painted dayglow orange, but you get used to it after a while. They were generally very quiet, clean and spacious with loads of wardrobe space, but hardly any space for food etc in the kitchen area. The apartment was supposedly air conditioned, but it didn't work very effectively. The fridge wasn't up to much either and the icebox took 3 days to freeze ice cubes.
Room was overlooking the main rear pool and childrens pool, with a nice view of the sea. The main bed was ok but the pull out sofa bed was not comfortable at all. The springs in the mattress did not have any padding on whatsoever.
There appear to be lots of sunbeds near the rear pool at first glance, but be warned the hotel is massive with hundreds of guests and these are generally all taken by about 8:00am.
We used the courtesy room to shower and change on the last day which was great, but the room was one of the basic hotel rooms, and was extremely small (not a patch on the apartments)and I am pleased we opted for the apartments.
Hotel Staff are very friendly and Cardiac Hill is not as bad as we expected.
All in all a pretty good hotel.
