just back from the Gardenia Park after 13 lovely days of sunshine the rooms are not bad, quite large and clean but no bidet or hairdrier in the bathroom and no fridge. It is also rather noisy with pop music playing in the pool area from 11.00 am to 6.pm. As it is an all-inclusive hotel there is some drunken behaviour. I would hate to be there in the high season. as it was, it was reasonable but I would think twice about going back there. Free red and white wine on tap in the diningroom but a bottle of good Rioja is only three euro so we opted for that. A big help to my wife was the bus stop outside the door. All in all a tidy holiday.

We stayed in the Gardinia Park we have stayed there before and enjoyed, but this time was different. The entertainment was terrible and aimed solely at the Spanish. We were over run by Spanish pensioners who controlled all the entertainment, and the dining area.

We have just returned from the Gardenia Park and wow what a wonderful holiday we had from start to finish and for the price we paid I wouldn`t dare to slate it and I don`t think I could even moan if we had paid a couple of hundred more!!!

The hotel is on the outskirts of the resort which we liked as we found it a lot more quieter and cleaner than the main town itself, the hotel is very well maintained and is sparkling clean through out, I think the maids do an excellent job and were busy throughout the day and night cleaning the stairs and corridors etc, the indoor and outdoor toilets were a pleasure to use from morning til night.

The pool was checked regulary for the water quality and there was a life guard on duty all day who suprisingly enough was needed most days for some emergency or enough which is reasuring when you have little ones going in and out of the pools.

We went AI and we were never waiting in a queue for drinks for more than 3 mins max and then you were able to order 4 drinks in one go, we have stayed in other AI hotels where you can only get two and then they try to slow you up but definately not there, the window slid open for service at 10am and never shut until 9pm and there was someone permanently there so therefore I am pleased to report I have pickled my liver somewhat.

The rooms are spacious and well presented and we couldn`t hear next door for a pleasant change, the maids cleaned everyday with fresh towels and I think our linen was done every other day.

The entertainment was good during the day with the animation team doing a sterling job for both adults and kids, the entertainment in the evening was enjoyable too and again you didn`t wait for a drink in the Victoria lounge for more than 3 mins max, I loved the wry smile of the waiter who was asked by an elderly man for sex on the beach with no ice for his elderly wife bless!

On to the food and wow once again what a wonderful choice and there wasn`t one day where we were even slightly let down by variety or quality, this little pigggy had eyes bigger than her belly and managed to put on half a stone so ladies beware when you are ladling the lucious rice pud on offer, as if that wasn`t enough the snacks are on all day when the restuarant is closed and they are just as good especially when you suddenly have the munchies at 11.30pm and could do with a coffee and burger and chips as if you needed it!

At weekends we had the spanish people descend upon the hotel but I can say they never spolit it for one second, hey we didn`t say ola or anything but we were always tolerant of each other and not once did I see any queue jumping for drinks or food and they just set about having a good time as did everyone else.

If you are looking for a lovely hotel look no further than this hotel just don`t tell me you`re going or I shall be terribly jealous!!

We stayed in the gardenia hotel for a week, all inclusive, the food was o.k. but could have had more selection, on quite a few occasions we had to wait for a table for our meals.

You could easily get a sun bed around the pool if you were lucky enough to get one of the new beds, but if you went down late you had to make do with the old sun beds which were very uncomfortable and tatty, ready for the skip infact.

The rooms were of a fare size and cleaned every day, there were no electric sockets near the dressing tables, most people prefer to use their hairdryers sitting at a dressing table but we had to use the bathroom sockets.

Most of the staff were friendy, apart from the bar staff, never seen any of them smile. We didn

Third time we have been to this hotel.

Still as good as the first time.

Food can be bit repetitive but it was a cheap holiday so we ate out most evenings.

Hotel and staff very good

Arrived and were absolutely gutted by the appearance of the hotel from the main road. Very high rise and concrete, concrete, concrete!

Reception was not much better, BUT the rest of the hotel, including the lounge bar, Dining room, Pool area and Gardens were loveley, and kept clean.

The rooms were quite dated, but clean and big enough for our family of 4.

Food was a bit repetitive after 2 weeks, but you could always find something to fill you up.The paella and sangria demonstrations made a change, and with them doing the demonstrations near the pool bar, gave you something to watch whilst lazing round the pool!

The entertainment during the day left a lot to be desired, the Kids club had been cancelled just prior to our travelling, but they did have some activities like darts and french boules. Evening entertainment was pretty much as it is everywhere, kids disco, bingo, then a bit of a show, kept the kids entertained which in turn keeps us parents happy!

The hotel staff all seemed pleasant enough, but be warned, dont attempt to get a drink from the bar when it's due to close, my god you would think you had asked them for their months wages!!

Hotel is right accross the road from the beach, which was loveley (watch out for the Jellyfish), but it is a very long walk to the centre, especially if you have kids, I would advise the bus which can be caught just down the road from the hotel or a taxi which were generally hanging around outside reception.

All in all not the best holiday of all time, but certainly not a disaster. I wouldnt go back, probably due more to the fact that I found the area to be much too "overbuilt" for my liking.

If you've already booked, sit back and look forward to your Hols!!

I Stayed at the Gardenia park hotel and had a great stay,
the staff were friendly better than the useless reps.

The maids are very honest put the euros I droped on the floor back on my bed.

The food was great Spanish and English food was on the menu, plenty of alcohol on tap, nice pool and entertainment room.

Bus stop basically right outside the hotel if needed, train station a 10 minute walk if that.

Access straight to the beach from the rear of the hotel through the garden.

If you need to do laundry there is a laundrette in Los Boliches which is cheaper than the hotel and they do a cheap service wash.

This hotel is mainly a families or pensioners or couples who want a quite time really.

There was also some Spanish families staying there who were really friendly.

I will not be going back as it was too quiet for myself
, I prefer the younger party crowd however saying that it was a good stay as I only really ate and sometimes slept thereand used the pool.

We have been on several all-inclusive holidays and for the money we have paid would rank this as amongst the best for value.

I am not the type to just stick with typical English food and found the food provided was of good quality with a wide range of cold and hot foods available and even a small childrens section with things like spaghetti etc.

The hotel is located across the road from the beach which meant we were able to spend either time on the beach or around the pool.

Entertainment was o.k. with a mini disco for the kids followed by some entertainment for the adults such as a show, bingo or Karaoke, but beware of the parrot show who charge 10Euros for a photo with the parrots.

The rooms were basic but clean but this is 3 star and what you would expect and as i only sleep and wash in my room this didn't bother me.

Overall a good 3 star All Inclusive holiday and comparible to many 4 star in terms of food quality.

The hotel is based in Torreblanca, a beach front location, with beautiful sea views. My husband and I booked on all inclusive, and for the money we paid it was good value for money.

The maids are excellent at their job always cleaning and put fresh towels out in our room each day.

The food however doesn't give much choice, but there was always something enjoyable to eat. The waiters in the restaurant like to huff and puff if you come in near the end of meal times, quite often we would come in 20 mins before meal times end and receive looks and clicking and tutting from a couple of the waiters which we just shrugged off, but a couple of days before we left, a waiter was most annoyed at us for coming in 20 mins before meals ended as they liked to close their restaurant promptly, and if possible early. The waiter in question shoved the chair next to me with my handbag on it squeezed by me, and drew the curtains, muttering to his fellow colleague in angry tones and giving us terrible looks. There were always other nationalities in the restaurant eating as late as we did but the waiters didn't seem to bother with them, and as myself and my husband always made an effort to speak a little Spanish and be pleasant. I saw no call for this behaviour. I confronted the waiter in question and calmly asked if he had any problem with me, instantly he said oh no I have no problem with you and there was no more attitude!!

All in all the hotel offers a pleasant holiday at very good rates. Would we go back? No simply because we don't go back to the same hotel twice. For a relaxing couples holiday this was just the ticket. For families there isn't that much going on for children.
