Not a 4star and dated, and some staff members rude , we book this hotel on its ratings , but it about a 3star

Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

Salou is lovely if you stick to the area beside the marina. The beaches there are lovely and clean. Some good upmarket shops too.

We actually stayed in Cap Salou, which is generally quite quiet with a small selection of bars/restaurants. The small but very clean beach right outside the hotel was adequate and clean and sunbeds were available although they were expensive we felt at 4 euros for a bed per day.
Main Salou, approx 30 minutes walk away had every conceivable amenity available. The beach was immaculate with toilet and shower facilities all along the promenade. public transport to Salou and the surrounding areas was exceelent value for money and ran at least every 30 mins. When we actually arrived ar Reus airport, there was a public bus available and for the low price of 5 euros 60 cents, this took us to the top of the road to our hotel. so again overall a great place and would go back.

the resort was lovely but nowhere was open as it was the wrong time of year but we found a few bars but a shame they were so far away and didnt feel too safe walking down there late at night

Have only given the resort entertainment of marking of 3 out of 5, as we went out of season and only seen entertainment in one venue, Danny Boys, which was on nightly. The resort and the beach were very clean. A visit to Port Aventura is a must. I hate rides, but even I manage to go on some and the shows put on at the venues are good fun, especially in the Far West.

The resort has lots to offer and is very pretty by the beach. If you are a smkoer there are 3 tobacco shops on the main stretch and if the walk is too much there is always the little "train"
Ask for directions to the smaller beaches as they are worth the visit! They still have a little bar in the summer months on the sand

Naturally I left the resort as soon as possible, but it was out of season when I was there so there was not a lot to do. Saying that, I can't imagine it being very good in peak season either. A major make-over is called for, is Changing Rooms still on the telly?!?!?!

we went off season unlike many mediterranean resorts this was Dead City most of the bars and shop shut and little entertainment to be found unless you went to the only club open

Stayed in Salou which has a wonderful promenade with palm trees stretching along the beach for miles.
You have the Port Aventura theme park. It is a wonderful place to stay for a relaxing holiday. The shops are a bit tacky but that is not a big issue.
There is a water park at La Pineda nearby and the ancient roman city of Tarragona is only 20 minutes by bus. Barcelona is only a train ride away.

The resort was beautiful, I had read peoples comments and comparison with Blackpool and could not see it at all apart from the main front runs in a line!!
You have a fantastic pedestrian area which stretches the lenght of the front with waterfalls, kids play areas, table tennis tables etc the beach is beautiful and busy in some areas but there are some lovely bays which are quieter. In our week there we were stopped twice and offered scratch cards we said no and they excepted this no problems.
I would love to go back.
