Although there is little entertainment outside the hotel, we did manage to watch a show, go on the camels, on a pirate ship and even ice skating. The taxis are cheap and tuk tuks are an experience in themselves. Our children aged 11 and 12 went on most of the water activities on the beach which are very reasonable priced. We will definitely be returning!!!

A very nice resort, with very large well kept prominade. some very nice hotels on the front looking over the beach.
take the Noddy tain to Hammamet for a good view of what the resort has to offer, do this early in your stay,so that you can plan what is worth visiting. Visit the medina at night and take in the entertainmant. also at the medina, dressed up Characters will ask for 1 Dinar, if you try to take their picture. It is well worth spending a few dinars as they will pose for you giving you some splendid holiday shots. Traders are very insistent and will try their best to try to get you to enter their shops, be polite and friendly, but don’t go in if you don’t want to.

The resort of Hammamet was a twenty minute walk or a short taxi drive which was very cheap.

Because the resort is new and purpose built everywhere was clean and modern. Plenty of water sports for those adventurous types but lots of bars and cafes if you just fancy watching the world go by.

Yasmine itself is fairly quiet - lots of restaurants / bars at the Marina but not much in the way of night life/ clubs. It suited us perfectly as we only wanted a week of relaxation so spent most time on the private beach which is fairly small but clean and well-tended to by the beach bar.

In particular, our favourite was the Piano Bar at the Marina - good music, relaxed, stylish surroundings and a high standard of food - well worth a visit.

Hammamet is beautiful within easy access to other locations, it is quiet with no night life as such.
The people appear very friendly but will beg money from you we just said no thankyou and carried on walking.
There are plenty of shops but they tend to be repetative and sell the same things.
Good buys are leather and ceramics.

The resort was really nice and well maintained. The taxi drivers are friendly and trustworthy. As long as you show respect for the local people and there culture they will be very friendly and welcoming.

Clean, not a lot of entertainment outside of the hotels, but the pavements around the hotels are good and ok to go for a walk around the area.

Hamamet is a great resort especially if you are just wanting to relax. however there are other thing you can do if your wantingto be adventurous. eg: hannibal caravan excursions: on the priate boat & camel rides, carthage land, blue ice (ice rink) parasailing & banana boat on the beach & also water sking.
dont get the wrong idea about the medinas as they are only trying to get your custom & if you are firm with them & politely say no they will back off. also there are loads of fixed price shops that are reasonably cheap in the new media so if your not a fan of bartering go in those shops.

really friendly people
really beautiful place
