Everyone was friendly the people know that apart from Olives tourism is big business.

There were water sports and paragliding [though this seemed to be run by young people and we didn't fancy it] plenty of sun beds, a nice bar. Port el Kantoui worth a visit but be prepared to be asked to "look at my shop just walk around my friend” it did get a bit warring but in the end you just have to say no. People were very happy if you knew a few words.

Would definitely go again. Also it's no children at the Kenz which was surprisingly nice [we have 2]. Although the trips did have children and being on a bus for a long time with someone else’s kids when we didn't have ours, was hard but still worth it.

The resort was fab. PEK was a beautifully clean and well kept resort. The people were friendly. The men were a little over friendly but once you told them you weren't interested they left you alone.

There was lots to do and the weather was great.

Iwill return to this resort.

The resort in PEK....

A lot of rubbish lying about and being approched to buy stuff all the time was getting a bit annoying. The sellers just don't know what NO means!!!

The White Sandy beach was gorgeous with lots of water sports and boat rides going on.

Evening entertainment not that brilliant, but we weren't there to spend 1 week by the pool we stayed there 3 nights before we went off somewhere else.

Port el Kantoui I found was very disappointing!

There was very little going on and no pubs! At 19 and 21 we would have at least liked one we could have visted! Be careful when your in the port if you order a beer, as 9 times out of 10 it is non alcoholic!

The Tunisians like to hassle you to go into their shops. They dont like to take no for an answer and if you are lagging behind your group it can be quite frightening being dragged into a shop when the people you are with dont know where you are. If you dont speak to them (which is the only way not to be dragged in) then they make you feel guilty. So really you cant win!

The port itself is quite pretty but if your looking for a nice pub to sit outside then you will be disappointed. If you just like to sit outside a cake and have a lemonade then its perfect if not then im afraid its not!

We even went into Sousse which is supposed to be lively. But even that wasnt! There were a few pub/clubs but they were either out of the way or not the kind of place you would feel comfortable in.

Taxis are plentiful though but you need to ask them how much before you get in. A taxi from the Royal Kenz is approximately 3 Dinar. Which is quite good.

Going to Tunisa and staying in the Royal Kenz is perfect if you want a relaxing holiday with no children/drunk youngsters and being in bed by 11. However if you want some life then personally I would say stay away!

The resort was nice, quiet but not too quiet with plenty to do and lots of restaurants to visit. The marina was nice but busy at night. We travlled as two single girls and did get lots of unwanted attention from the local men which did cause some stress to our holiday but you just have to get used to being very rude and aloof and not engage in conversation where you dont want to.
The food was good (not the best for us as we are vegetarian but we coped with nice salads, pizza and pasta and vegetable couscous)
We arranged trips through tour operator but around the beach and marina reps try and sell the same trips for a much reduced price which is good.
Overall very nice holiday if slightly marred but the local men (but the compliments were a confidence boost!).

Shopkeepers were a nuisance. More restaurants than we had been expecting. Not a lively place but good for a week away from it all.

Port El Kantoui is pretty as a picture, clean as a whistle and is well facilitated with pleasant resturants, endless gift shops and no short supply of good natured salesmen all too eager to let you have a look around their stores.
All in all a pleasant place to stroll after dinner.
