The Sahara Beach hotel is a large self contained complex Everything you need is catered for so there is no need to leave the complex unless you wish to.

The hotel is very clean the grouds and pool areas are spotless not a scrap of litter or cig end lying about The staff are constantly cleaning.

Breakfast ok eggs/cereal/continental. Evening meal nice plenty of choice no need to go hungry includes vegetarian/pizza cooked as you wait/tunisian once a week/as well as normal menu.

The animation team are a great bunch who really love their jobs they are on the go from morning till night keeping everyone entertained the kids love them. 3 bars 1 nightclub inside the hotel night club closes 2am beer cheap only one brand though tastes ok wine ok didnt try the spirits.

I would visit this hotel again but only as a winter break as I enjoyed it thoroughly as we were 4 adults I wouldnt visit during school holidays.

Just returned spot on lovely place, don't know where other people stayed, could not fault food, (I am a head chef ) you get what you pay for.

Will go back to Sahara beach again and again.

Reps let us down, should tell truth about trips, will go with different tour company next time.

I really enjoyed this holiday alot, I would definately recomend it. The food was nice as it did a variety of things on each night, it also catered for vegetarians too, and there was plenty of it.

The hotel was very well kept, there werent a bit off rubbish anywhere! The pool also looked lovely and clean and very inviting!

To top it off the staff were amazing waiting on you hand and foot making sure you had what you needed when you needed it.

Also the entertainment programme was excellent there was so much to do for all ages and you always got roped into playing the games, in which you end up having a great laugh and meeting new people..... so YES I would definatley go back again!!!

Our 2nd visit. Food not quite as good as last time (which was excellent), but still good, plenty of choice at lunch and dinner. Breakfast - not a lot of choice - no bacon (except 1 day).

Highly recommend going all inclusive, kids all loved the choices at lunch, pizza, chips burgers etc rather than go to dining room. Drinks are fine, not a huge choice but they have the basics.

Weather really good for Feb, only 1 day of rain.

The staff are very pleasant the whole time, not just leaving day, yes they want and expect tips, but when you find out what the average salary is you know why.

Little to do other than sunbathe, the beach was lovely and clean. Day activities include tennis, mini golf, archery, keep fit, darts, and there is a mini club but mine didn't go. There is go kart track just down the road.

Lovely grounds and indoor pool, massage and hairdressing available.Several shops, stalls inside hotel. Hotel does camel trip for

Just as the previous report the Sahara Beach has a lot to do to bring it up to standard. The waiters are all after tips on my last day one waiter insisted that I go round all my friends and get him a good tip as he had been nice to me all week!

The kids liked the games room and entertainment staff work really hard. The weather was not great but what do you expect at this time of year. We got there xmas night and left new years night they held a hogmaney ball which was terrible.

We were all inclusive but you could only drink wine or beer that night. The kids had no choice on this night either. All other nights were ok if you liked eggs, turkey or pasta as this is what you got breakfast lunch and dinner.

The towns are a disgrace as before full of beggers very frietening.
We made good friends there which made the holiday more pleasent but I can honestly say I would not go back to Tunisia and certainly not the Sahara Beach resort.

We visited this hotel for New Year 2005.

The hotel provided a Gala dinner with entertainment. It was brilliant , the food was excellent and the party was amazing. Even my eight year old son really enjoyed himself , he even liked the food !!

The hotel for me was too smokey as a non smoker for me.

Just got back from Tunisia. We went out on the first Thomas cook winter flight. The weather was excellent 7 sunny days it rained once at night It was our second time to the Sahara beach.

We found the food to be excellent.

Hotel staff and animation team were also very good but it helps if you tip as they need the money to live.

We did notice more flies and less cleaners about the hotel There were no ladies watching in the gents.

The hotel was still clean but not spotless as the weather was still hot this in my humble opinion causes a problem

We would go back to the hotel but only out of season. We are going to portal Kantoui in May. A good time to visit Tunisia for couples

This was probably the worst holiday we have ever had, the sahara beach is a tired old hotel in urgent need of a refit, the foyer is ok but look a little closer and the cracks start showing, the stair carpet for instance goes up only the first set of stairs after that it magically dissapears.

The rooms are small with no drawer space at all, our balcony only got the sun at 9 o clock in the morning, after about half an hour,it was goodnight vienna.

The food is atrocious we were at the pegasus palace eight weeks earlier and read a lot of unkind things about the food on there, but those people who complained about the food at the palace should visit the sahara beach.

The towns of monastir and suicce ? were the worst towns/cities that i have ever seen, they are full of thieves con merchants, short changing shopkeepers and ten year old girls who openly beg on the sreets of these two c..p holes.

But if you dont fancy going there where else do you go ? nowhere because this excuse for a hotel is planted in the middle of nowhere.

The entertainment is fine if you are in the 9 to 10 year old bracket, silly games usually featuring some parts of the body,or simulating love making on stage with a bottle and a couple of balloons, classic comedy indeed.

The hotel staff are fine as long as your giving them tips, try to beat them for a mattress for the lounger, you cant, they get them and then expect a tip for carrying it about twenty five yards.

The waiters are only friendly on the last day making sure that if its there day off on the day you leave, they,ll let you know.

Any good points? the pools and gardens are pleasant, and the beach is nice but a little dirty here and there with camel dung the whole stretch.

Guests give their paperbacks in after they have finished them so they dont have to take them home, what does this hotel do,let other guests read them? oh no they sell them and the magazines, but you do get half back if you return them.

I cant think of anything that would persuade me to visit this hotel or this god forsaken country ever again.

Hotel clean and tidy.

Food, different but all edible. location didn't really apply as we didn't go out of hotel during stay.

Staff very friendly and entertainment for kids was good but we had none with us. There is a disco in the hotel but very rarely anyone in, but drinks were good prices. As we were all inc we only had to buy drinks after 12. Only problem is they did not have a lot of choice not just because there local brands but even if you were paying it was very limited. Don't do Malibu or Tia Maria or anything similar and all with just lemonade or coke.

We managed though and I would visit again.

10 of us went to the Sahara Beach. There were 4 adults and 6 children of all ages from 1yr to 15yrs. All I can say is what a fantastic holiday. We have booked for next year but with 15 of us going this time. We had an interconnecting room which was great, plenty of wardrobe space and two bathrooms!! The rooms were spotlessly clean and visited every day by the maids.

We were there on an all inclusive basis which was amazing especially with having 6 children with us!

The food was fantastic and as the diet and nutrition chef for Manchester United Football Club I am not easily pleased!

The staff were all fantastic and couldnt do enough for you.

The entertainment was great morning and night, and being on the beech the watersports were fantastic.

We did tip all the staff really well but they still don not earn a lot for the work they do!

Before we went on this holiday we were dreading it after reading alot of bad reports on holiday truths but I don't know what holiday all of these people had been on, it certainly was not the Saraha Beach we stayed at.
