Had visited this hotel earlier in year so knew location was not too good but with nearby train station and cheap taxis we were happy to visit again just a shame there are no shops closer to hotel closest were a good half hour walk each way.
Entertainment team very enthusiastic but has deteriorated since the winter programme very basic and relies heavily in guests anticipating. Lovely beach and sea hotel itself very clean throughout. Food had improved from previous visit spoilt for choice.

Resort was amazing, had great facilities and cant wait to get back! Perfect, that is all that can be said!

The place is not a resort, it's a massive hotel built almost in the middle of nowhere. There were other hotels not too far away but, because of the nature of the hotel, we felt trapped inside unless we escaped on a couple of trips. We were so disappointed and felt as if we had been totally misled by the brochure. So much so, that we would not return there even if you paid us!

This is not really a resort only a few hotels grouped together so that the only entertaiment is in your respective hotel. Sundays were good when all of the locals came to the seaside and were bating fully clothed and then returning to circus tents which they had constructed on the beach.

The beach is right on your doorstep and very clean. There are lots of water sports and they are very cheap and safe to do the entertainment is very good something different everynight.
After reading some of the reports I did not want to go but I loved every second of my hoilday some people moan about nothing at all. Go and enjoy yourself we did!

Resort cleanliness very good,but housekeeping staff like to start as early as 7.30am and insist on hoovering the corridors at this time ,so there is no chance of a lie in.
Entertainment is good during the day if you like volley ball, darts, arobics, and table tennis ect. Entertainment is rubbish in the evening, only sat through it for the sake of the kids as they liked to sit on the side of the stage.
The beach is great,clean with plenty of water activities.
Would I visit this resort again? NO, because if your a family of five its a hassle having to get two taxis's and also theres nothing in walking distance beyond the hotel.

Even though Tunisia is a very poor place you could be anywhere once in the hotel.

Skenes itself is just hotels and not much to see, great beach plenty of water sports very reasonably priced. We visited Sousse not recommended It was horrible Jane ended up in tears through being pestered, Visit to monastir was well worth a visit much nicer and cleaner, went on a tuc tuc to monastir much more enjoyable than a taxi which if you do use do so at your own risk!

The resort Skanes was a lovely resort, very quiet but other locations were only a short taxi ride away.
Over the road from my hotel was a small shop, mall, restaurant and bar, here we met a few lovely people who I shall be staying in touch with.
Had a lovely time in Tunisia and the vodka cocktails were the nicest drink ever specially when Sammi makes them. I hope to return again sometime.

The resort is very clean people cleaning all the time also maintaining the gardens constantly and cleaning up after us by the pools.
Beach is also clean but I do get annoyed with people putting there cigs in the sand. If you go to the beach turn right and walk down a bit water a lot shallower and warmer.
The entertainment I found was excellent the Lion King was very good the little fella liked that and Michael Jackson was brilliant but it gets a bit boring at about 11 when it stops.
